From Migas and corn tortillas to hearty omelets and toasted English Muffins, everything is hot, fresh, and generously portioned. “Christian our server was absolutely amazing! The ambiance, decor, vibe and music were all on point. Appetizers didn't disappoint with the cheesesteak bites and rolls. The peppers with the cheesesteak rolls was brilliant! The dips (our fave was the salted caramel) were so whipped they make cool whip seem rough. Amazing! So delicious. My anniversary date had the seafood bisque and said it was the best she'd ever had which is hundreds of bowls from different restaurants around the globe...yes she's an expert on bisque. I had the vodka rigatoni she had the lobster linguini. She absolutely loved hers, I just liked mine a little. More on that. Toffee cake for dessert and our special coconut sundae was amazing as well (thank you for that!). Only thing not giving the entire experience top reviews is my dish. The rigatoni was very soft, like it was cooked too long as it shredded when I stabbed it with my fork. The sauce was spicy, yet too sweet. Don't get me wrong I love sweet, and a balance of the two in a pasta dish sounded just amazing. The chipotle flavor was strong enough but the sweetness overpowered the dish and IMO could use some toning down. It could practically be a dessert pasta it was so sweet. The Ruby room was a vibe for sure-perfect blend of music, atmosphere, lush drapes and booths with sexy staff going by you'd think you're in a speakeasy. Definitely a great date spot but not for business as the music was pumping. I can't wait to come back and try the steak frites-that's what I was going to get. And for my beautiful date? He acknowledged my birthday with rose petals tossed on the table, a visit from Mr. Sevy and the manager AND a complimentary dessert plus a Sevy’s bottle of spice to take home. I’ve dined at alot of restaurants in Dallas over many years. The customer service snd attention here was phenomenal. “What a fantastic experience at Fords Garage in Plano we came out on a Sunday to catch their monthly car show (every first Sunday of the month) and it truly made a perfect day, classic cars, great crowd and such a fun atmosphere right in the parking lot. It really set the tone after the car show we headed inside for brunch and the whole experience was top-notch. The food was excellent definitely recommend the brunch menu on weekends the brisket, burger, and loaded tots or chicken and waffles was a highlight and everything came out fresh and perfectly cooked, the service was equally impressive, super friendly attentive without being overbearing and generally welcoming from the moment we walked in the whole place had such a cool automotive themed decor with vintage cars and gas pumps adding a unique touch to the ambience if you’re looking for somewhere fun, family, friendly, and a bit different. Ford’s Garage in Plano is absolutely worth it. Great food great people and unique experience all around. We’ll definitely be back.“

I had the jalapeño grits with my meal and they were really delicious. This was our first time to come to J. Macklin’s for brunch and I look forward to our next visit. Our server was Cameron.
