“Food was fantastic. Flavors were well structured, not to sweet, had great depth and some complexity.
Portion sizes were a great perception of value. Would have loved some sliced scallion and maybe some julienne carrots, but that is a preference and not a rating criteria.

“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. I highly recommend Manna Shabu & BBQ and can’t wait to come back with my family the next time I’m in town. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful one!“

The value for the money spent is unmatched, the portion was perfect for me as well. The chicken teriyaki was juicy and flavorful with a hint of char-grilled goodness. The macaroni was fresh and light and the cabbage salad was wonderfully crunchy and a nice contrast in texture. My only regret is not ordering more food for takeout. “My first visit! I called in to order, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in 25 minutes later and everything was fresh and hot! This was the best Korean BBQ fried chicken I have ever had in my lifetime! The french fries were perfect! Crispy and hot with a wonderful coating and honey butter flavor! This will be my go to place for chicken now! You can see that the staff prepare everything by hand, and the service is exceptional, love all the sauces too! The inari sushi was one of the highlights. They offer several different toppings and flavor combinations, and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially loved how each piece had its own personality, from creamy and spicy toppings to savory meat, crab, roe, and other Japanese-inspired combinations. You can really tell they put thought into both the flavors and presentation.

Their mochi churros are also a must-try. They’re freshly prepared, crispy on the outside while still having that chewy mochi texture inside. I loved seeing the different colorful flavors being made fresh. The matcha soft serve was another favorite smooth, creamy, rich in matcha flavor, and not overly sweet. It’s the perfect dessert if you’re a matcha lover.

The atmosphere at Neko Yubu is modern, cute, and welcoming, with a fun Japanese-inspired concept that makes the whole experience feel different from your typical dessert shop. Everything is very Instagram-worthy, from the storefront to the food presentation.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. You can also see that a lot of care goes into preparing each item fresh.

Dalmaekju Restaurant. They moved into a larger space in the same shopping center (suite 115). The banchan were delicious- I especially enjoyed the bean sprouts and the seaweed with pieces of zucchini. I had the Yookgejang which was boiling hot and just the right spiciness. Tons of flavor. Came with purple rice which is nice. Got dried pollack soup take out which was really good too. The ladies who run the restaurant are all very friendly. Great place for hot Korean soups.“

“I don’t know why I haven’t left a review for this place sooner, because it is hands down my favorite. I came here almost every weekend for the mul naengmyeon for years until I sadly moved to NYC earlier this year.

I can say without a doubt that this is probably the best naengmyeon in the US. It’s always the first place I go when I’m back in town. I even have a Korean friend who drove all the way from Austin just for it after I introduced her to the place, that’s how good it is.

But honestly, what makes this place so special to me is the people. The owners and everyone who works here are genuinely some of the warmest, kindest people, and you can feel how much they care about what they do and the people who come through their doors.

I miss being able to come here every weekend, but it’s still a must every time I’m back. If you love naengmyeon, you absolutely need to try this place. ❤“

“This place never fails us, always the best comfort meals. My friend loves their porridge downnn and I recently had their hot pot with beef so good! The food is so good. The staff woman in our recent visit was super friendly and attentive. It’s family owned and operated so the care is definitely noticed. It’s great for a peaceful meal with friends and I would love for more people to come try this place outside their usual spots if they’re in the ktown area.“

It's hard to think grated cheese and korean ingredients would go well, but they do! Owner was great and occasionally they would give extra portion.“

Beautiful, clean, modern interior and the restaurant wasn't all that busy when we visited with a big group on a weekend so we were able to have a whole back section of the restaurant to ourselves. “I had a wonderful experience at Yorienn Korean Fried Chicken & Yori Shop! The Korean fried chicken was crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of seasoning. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, and you can really taste the care that goes into the food.

We were having a late night dinner, and bb.q Chicken seemed like the best option. We ordered on UberEats and everything was packaged nicely for delivery.

Soy Garlic Sauce ($3.45): This sauce is bomb. Very thick but delicious on everything we put it on. We saved it because it was just too good to throw away.

So Ddeok So Ddeok ($8.05): A skewer with fried rice cakes and mini sausages which was okay. The secret sauce was drenched all over it which was a bit too much for me.

Fried Pickles ($8.05): The batter did not hold up well, and the pickles fell out and was pretty soggy. The batter itself was not bad and still had some crispiness to it though.

Double Flavor Wings ($35.65): You get to choose two flavors with 8 wings each, and the wings were huge. We went with honey garlic and Gangnam style (black pepper sauce with garlic and onions) and added pickled radish. The flavors on both were actually pretty subtle and barely tasted the Gangnam sauce. The honey garlic had more flavor so we liked that one more. The fried chicken did not taste greasy though which was a plus, and the pickled radish is a must to balance everything out.“
