“Rain or shine, you can enjoy Donuts anytime! I've been enjoying these donuts for almost thirty years since 1994! Today I got there when they first opened up and was able to enjoy a buttermilk donut still warm and it was delicious! The sausage rolls are always great. This jewel can't be seen from Forest Hill drive, but it's near Cicis pizza. The owners are very friendly and dedicated to serving good quality items.“

Evidently Mindy Lu must use a similar technique. I was introduced to Mindy Lu here in Del Río at the 5 Points convenience store about 4 months ago when there was an ownership change. “Not gonna lie, cake was absolutely delicious and I still recommend it to anyone , however my wedding cake didn’t look like what I expected ..that was my only disappointment and it was plain . I expected something a little more based on previous work I’ve seen and didn’t look like the pictures. I looked back at the consultation notes to make sure cause it says see picture but it’s ok it was still very good everyone was talking about how good it tasted and the cupcakes were perfect !“

“Mana’Eesh is absolutely delicious. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

We had the falafel, hummus, and a variety of flatbread including kafta, meat, halloumi, and cheese and za’atar. Every single one was amazing! The falafel was perfectly crispy, the hummus was smooth and rich, and the flatbreads were warm, well-seasoned, and incredibly satisfying.

You can tell this is a family-owned place that takes pride in their food. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!“

“The hubs and I stopped by for a bagel and coffee. We ended up ordering more lol. He had the bagel Sandwich and a muffin which was amazing! I ordered a caramel cold brew which was perfect, a bagel with cream cheese, and a blueberry muffin. All were fresh, warm and delicious. We miss the Italian wedding soup that Olive Garden use to have and they serve it here so we will be back to try that and their tomato basil soup!“

“The Black Rose Donut cafe is more than a donut shop. They are open all day and serve burgers, fries, wings, and more. Not only is the food excellent, it is prices way below other places. I have easily paid more than twice as much for food of less quality. If you like good food, low prices, and supporting small businesses, you should definitely add them to the top of your list of places to try!“
