7 Best Tex-Mex Restaurants in Fredericksburg

“We are back home in Micanopy Florida, and I am reviewing the menu thinking about our experience at Leroy's Tex Mex BBQ in Fredericksburg TX, and all I can think is what GREAT food it was. I want more right now! Really folks, this place has excellent TexMex BBQ. Four of us had a variety of entrees. Leroy's Nachos are outstanding, the brisket was very good. The salad was very tasty. Summary: great recipes, well executed BBQ, friendly folks, very fresh vegetables (very tasty jalapenos - it's hard to get flavorful spicy crispy jalapenos now), reasonable prices. My wife said: "Tell folks to walk around and familiarize yourself with what is offered. Take your time." There is a lot offered, not all of it is on the menu. There are so many delicious well executed items. TEX MEX at its best“

“I’m not sure where to begin. My husband and I ate lunch on the back patio today with our dog, Dino. We were promptly greeted by our server Jo, who must have written the manual on great service. She was attentive, witty and full of information. Our food was equally as great, we’ve eaten quite a bit of bratwurst in this town in the past 5 weeks, and theirs is lights out. Oh, and to top it off the live music was awesome, check their schedule so you don’t miss Cliff Crawford.“

“We go to Mamcita's almost every time we are in town. The food is always good, but this past weekend, we went and I went into the restroom and it was awful. The second stall was so nasty and I tried to flush it down, but the handle was broke. So I waited for the next one to open up. After I walked out, told the lady by the desserts and she cut me off right away and said they knew it. Why was this not addressed and at least put a note on the door that is was out of order? Why was not not fixed when it was reported the first time. Please keep restrooms clean-this also gives a red flag that leans to the wonder of the kitchen. This was a big turn off!!“
