“Was in the city for a XC meet, got hungry and stoped here. Food was great, customer service was awesome, and the place was very homey. Ordered a chilaquiles plate and mini tacos, both had a tons of flavor. To drink, a Mexican coke and an Agua Fresca (Sandia). My favorite part was HOMEMADE TORTILLAS!! Very hard to find now a days at restaurants. 10/10 place we will definitely be going back. Since ppl are putting their prices on here, 2plates, & 2 different drinks, came out to a total of $35. Which is waaay cheaper than any Tex-Mex franchise. In my opinion, the prices are fair.“

“The queso is 🔥 and so is everything else. You're safe getting anything on the menu! It'll be tasty. Be mindful if you dont like cilantro though, they have a couple sauces that have a lot of it.
Update: food is still delish. Service is better than ever!“

“Food was excellent, especially the tortillas. The service was fast and very friendly. The atmosphere was actually cool, but it was very loud and hard to hear ourselves and the conversations we were trying to have at the table. But that may be expected at a cantina's style restaurant. 😉“

“I love going to this Las Palapas location. The food is great, service is always on point (Ethan and Joseph are especially exceptional), and our family always leaves happy. When we have visitors from out of town, they always beg to go to Las Palapas on TPC. Keep up the amazing work!“

“After experiencing horrible service from BJ’s next door we came to Chilis. This chilis ALWAYS provides amazing and friendly service!! Our waitress for Easter (04/05/2026) was also the bartender. She was absolutely on top of her section and the bar!! She was very sweet and hard working. She provided us amazing service and for that we were very thankful for her. Food was delicious and the drinks were also top tier. We love chilis and love the environment and staff at this specific chilis. Our waitress definitely should get a raise! We loved her energy. :) She made our bad night (after BJs horrible experience) into a great one. Never stray away from chilis!! 5/5 stars!“

“imagine our surprise when we went for an early dinner and had to pay $1.99 for a bowl of chips! the waiter brought 2 bowls to our table when we arrived. if we'd known you had to pay for them we probably wouldn't have gotten any. I'm sure the Barrios can afford corn tortillas for making chips without charging $1.99 for a small bowl of them. highly disappointed. corn tortillas are cheap“

“I'm gluten-free, not by choice. Loved loved loved the chicken mole enchiladas!! Such a treat for me!!!!TexMex mole often has gluten as a thickener, but maize is the authentic way. Great queso and guacamole too. This will be our new regular. I can't wait to go back! It's usually too stressful and sometimes inaccurate information given which triggers absolute agony for a few weeks. I hated eating out. Thank you so much for having my all time favorite dish that I can enjoy!!! Kudos to the kitchen, wait staff and owner!“

“I'm new to San Antonio and my area of town. I don't think I got here soon enough. This restaurant was busy but not crazy. And the food was very tasty. The icing on the cake was the mariachi band. I LOVE THEM! And how often do you get a customer that sings along. Great place.

Thank you Pedro for making my out of town family's dinner an excellent experience. The guacamole was DELISH!! And the adult beverages were DEVINE! I love the vibe of El Chaparral and I love bringing my family & friends!“

“I'm was not expecting a great experience. We originally wanted to go to the steakhouse at the hotel but it was completely booked. We had an amazing time at Cibolo Moon. The food was phenomenal. The service was fantastic. The infused margaritas were great! I highly recommend.“

“"Kai The Guy" Listen.......the food is always amazing and on top of that what takes this experience over the top is having Kai and Jose on the truck together running things!!! Great friendly customer service and the wait time is not bad considering that it's cook to order. Always a pleasure having them at Clinch Memorial Hospital!! Superb job guys!!!“
