“Wow! This place is fantastic. We were walk-ins on a busy night, and they still found a way to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. The hostess was sweet and welcoming, and our server was incredibly professional. We shared some tasty appetizers before enjoying the salmon dish with these sweet and spicy brussel sprouts which was amazing. The lychee martini was my favorite. For dessert, we had fresh crispy churros served with this delicious salted caramel sauce, absolutely to die for! Now, the space is stunning, reminded me of something out of Las Vegas. They even have a Jazz Night, which you’d normally have to go to Dallas for, so it’s great to see something like that right here in Frisco. The manager gave us his ‘fancy’ digital business card since we are planning a birthday party and was gracious enough to give us a tour of their upstairs space answering all of our questions. I will definitely be back. My new favorite place! Uptown in Frisco!“

“Unfortunately the construction around the restaurant makes it more challenging to get to till it finishes. That being said dinner was lovely, staff helpful and friendly, and the house is quite charming. The beet salad was fresh and bright, the country fried chicken was great fried chicken and the capers were amazing, the short rib was perfectly tender, flavorful and the grits paired perfectly. All in all it felt like they are bringing their A game, despite the construction around them making things look unapproachable.“

“This is my 2nd time to eat here. On my first experience with a ladies group, I knew I had to bring my boyfriend back! The food was excellent! Drinks and service A+. Also. The lounge on the opposite side was great too. They have a live DJ around 9pm. Will definitely be back to experience more items on the menu.“

“This was a cool little find. We were treated like royalty by our server Rachel for being first-timers. The venue itself is cute with an outdoor patio in addition to indoor booths and tables. The French Onion Soup was very tasty and a bit different - topped with puff pastry rather than cheese, but the cheese was still nice and gooey inside the soup. My wife said her tenderloin salad was good. We both enjoyed her blackberry smash. We live in Garland so we won't get there often, but it will stay in our radar when we're in the area.“

“Came here for the first time on what ended up being an absolutely Gorgeous Sunday. We chose outdoor seating, and were delighted to have Bentley as our Server. I was a bit overwhelmed by the numerous options available to me (as a vegetarian for 30+ years, usually a fairly limited selection at a burger joint), but Bentley reassured me I could build any combination I’d like. I went with the Vegan Patty (freshly made in house), w/cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, ketchup, lettuce & jalapeño chutney on the side. It was Effing PERFECTION! I’m so glad we stopped here, huge shout out to Bentley on being exactly what we love in our server: Genuinely friendly, helpful & attentive- you ROCK!“

“I went to Chicago Avenue Hotdogs for lunch with eight of my friends today. We had a fabulous time. The food was pretty good, the decor and atmosphere were really nice, and I had a fabulous time with my friends. I hope you all have an amazing time when you go as I had today!“

“I had vegan vegetable sandwiche and my kids had chicken pesto pasta. My kids loved their food, they gave it a 10/10. I my self also enjoyed my sandwiche. It was one of the best vegan sandwiches I ever had. Customer service was on point. Oh I also had the Popeyes secret juice, and it was delicious, most of all very healthy.
If you follow a special type of diet, they have it all.“

“Top favorite for live music and great food.

We arrived around 7:30p. There was no wait and plenty of tables. We got a great table upfront. When we first arrived they had a duel pianist on stage playing various covers. Fun music to sing along. Then the main band came on stage at about 9:30p. They were AWESOME! Their name is Rawk Train - highly recommend seeing them. Super fun, danceable classic rock music.

Spent $200 on 3 people. We had 2 appetizers, crawfish dip (a MUST) and southwest egg rolls (not recommended - tasted hard like they were reheated). For main course we had a pound of crawfish, blackened sea bass and tomato cream, and fish and chips. Had the bourbon bread pudding for dessert. All the food other than the egg rolls was incredible. Our waitress Kalise was attentive, well dressed, and great overall. The only odd thing that happens was that we were charged $20 over our tab. We left her tip in cash, so I’m a bit bewildered over the extra charge. I will be contacting the restaurant tomorrow. Once they help resolve this discrepancy I will be more than happy to remove this statement from the review.

Otherwise I recommend this place for a fun dinner night with friends or family. I will most definitely be back.“

“I used to come here as a little girl with my parents and always enjoyed it. So for nostalgia sake I brought my friends to brunch to celebrate my 18th birthday. It did not disappoint. Just as charming — If not more — as I remembered, with amazing customer service and delicious food!!
The manager and waitress got to know our group, directed us to the best table (we were the only ones there at the time) and treated me to a slice of cheesecake to help us celebrate. Such a sweet time, I felt so blessed and special!“

“I'm eating a taco for the first time, and my experience at the shop was wonderful. It was very tasty! I feel like I should come back to this shop again and again to eat. I will definitely come regularly. You should also try it at that shop; you'll like it too.“

“Our server Donavan was super and made great cocktail and food suggestions for dinner. This sounds impossible, but even the chips and queso were artisan craft, top notch. We added blackened chicken to our bowls and there was plenty of food leftover.“

“Our Neighborhood held a monthly ladies birthday event here for 20 .Setting up the event with Rohith was very easy. He offered special pricing on food and drink. One of our ladies was in a wheelchair so he provided a low top table for her. Our waitress worked hard and was cheerful and cute. The music was turned down slightly so everyone could talk. The food was good. We were there early on a Monday which was a great time as the restaurant was not crowded. A number of the ladies commented that they had a fun time. It was a great place to have our event.“

“My burger was delicious !!! My cocktail was nice and strong !!! Even my avocado caesar side salad was delicioso 5/5 ! I gave the atmosphere a 4/5 because the lights were a lot brighter than my liking but Jake was the waiter and he was calm, cool and attentive! Definitely recommend this restaurant !!!!! “Wonderful prime bone in ribeyes and filets. Sides were all delicious and still tasted well the next day. Bread is the best of the steakhouses in the area. Salads were very tasty and appetizers were enjoyed by our party. And desserts were Lucious. We celebrated birthdays and everyone enjoyed the environment and service as well as food. We just commented tonight the experience is worth the drive of over an hour and parking was easy. We agreed tonight one of the best steakhouse in DFW. Recommend Randy's and we love prime beef. Randy has 5 star rating and it is for a reason. His restaurant is excellent. We will be back for Christmas celebration! Kudos to Randy and his staff.“

“Very nice friendly welcome. The breakfast is delicious and BIG. Service at restaurant by Raul, Emiliano, Ruth, Ester and Genesis makes you feel welcome. Good service without being intrusive. Relaxing outside view with big windows. Friendly team with a positive attitude. Free self parking. We are staying 4 nights leaving tomorrow and have had a great experience here during an unusual snowstorm. The room service dinner is also good although missed some things that they gladly go back for. Well located for major highways access and also for Plano and Frisco.“
