“1st time and we almost missed out since they opened late and by that i mean 45min. We just happened to stop next door to just get a drink and they were there when we came out
They have a variety of different choices and again was a bit disappointed since they didn't have basics like Lemonade which I really wanted 😑
I did go with Strawberry / lemon with Tajien which I really enjoyed but still they were on strike 2 in the first 5min
The person there was really nice and apologized , maybe it was just a ploy to get us to make another trip 🤔
I can't tell you what the price was i didn't pay but I did enjoy the homemade flavors that we did get
They also have pints which we didn't try this time , guess we'll see when we come back“

“One of a kind ice cream flavors AND MORE! We are from out of town and out waitress recommended this place. They have lots of flavored “aguas” (drinks), ice cream galore in a variety of different flavors I’ve never seen anywhere else. They also have sherbet flavors in all kinds of fruit flavors. They give samples so don’t be scared to ask for samples!“

I love this refresqueria! Everyone is so nice and helpful!
The ice cream flavors are delicious and of good quality. The snacks are really good and it’s a pretty spacious place. It’s a cute vibe to bring family for a treat or meet with a friend to catch up. I love that they also have boba. Their Taro is really spot on ♥

“This place should be a summer destination. Many unique flavors - fruits (I’d never heard of) from south of the border and spicy options… Mamey, Nance, Pecan, Horchata, Tamarind, Chamoy, Rompope… and then plenty of standard flavors if you’re not adventurous.
Also, very affordable. Can buy singles or packs, so bring a cooler to take home your own DIY variety pack.

“I was sooo happy to see Tropical Chill was STILL open and STILL as wonderful as it was when I was a kid, 32 yrs later! They have THE BEST snoballs in THE WORLD! I had not been by in years and was driving through DP on Center and told my childhood friend that I remember super yummy snowcones and she said they were still open! I pulled in and felt like nothing had changed. It is a top favorite and will be for me! Shaved creamy ice with flavorful choices that have never disappointed! Thank you for still keeping us cool with yumminess!“

“My family and I came here for the first time on yesterday and purchased ice cream and nachos. We were so impressed with the flavors and taste. I wish we had one in Katy. Whenever we travel back to this side of town, we will definitely go back to that location.“

She let us taste a couple of different ones before making our decision. Turned out to be the best ice cream treat I have ever had. I highly recommend the pistachio.
