“Oh my what a hidden gem! My husband and I have been looking for a spot we can enjoy and long behold we have found IT!!!!!! The bourbon sauce on the cajuan fried ribs DELISH. The greens and spinach YUM. The seafood egg rolls like no other!!!!! We ordered takeout out and meeting Chef D and Ci Ci in person was such a blessing. He cooks with love and has a story to tell. Definitely will be back and will spread the word about Always Cooking NOLA.“

“When they have the boiled crayfish I give them a 10. But I just don't think crayfish should be fried. Those were hard and covered in bread with a tiny piece of rubber meat inside. So I don't recommend the fried crayfish but the boiled crayfish should be on the regular menu. Overall a good place to eat. The grits are legit and creamy ? love those as well. I would return.“

“Jimmy the manager is amazing. All his staff are very friendly. Busy or not busy you will get the most friendly service food service is amazing. Food very fresh. They all go above there duties to make every customer feel so welcome as family. The food quality is amazing. Jimmy the manager we see him 1 or 2x a week because he and all his staff makes you want to come back for all the great sea food. They are so family friendly here. My lil girl is autistic and when they see us come in the accommodate our seating to make her feel comfortable. Go jimmy.. You are the best. “What a surprise this place was! we did not want to go to a chain and saw this from the road. All of the food was fresh and tasty with good portions. A little pricey but given the quality I had no issue. There's paper on your table in case they dump the seafood on it. It's great Good drink options. Has a little more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant.
Service was fine but not very enthusiastic.
