We eat there once a week and there are always leftovers for the next day“

“We had a nice dinner here yesterday! We were a group of four people. The decor is interesting. I love historic and old architecture so the Barton House is fascinating to me. The food was delicious. The drinks were good too. The wine was a fine choice. Our waitress was friendly and nice. Dessert was scrumptious. “After a long Thursday evening shift, I’m sure the *last* thing Corbin wanted to see was my husband and me walking in just 25 minutes before closing. But we had flown in from North Carolina late the night before, spent the day attending funeral events for a loved one, and were desperately craving a Texas favorite. See, Freebirds doesn’t exist in NC. Having lived in Killeen for seven years, we knew exactly what we were missing—Chipotle and Burrito Shak don’t even come close. We needed Freebirds. We needed to see Lady Liberty on her hanging bike. And, as it turned out, we needed Corbin’s kindness. Even at the end of what had to have been a long day for him, Corbin welcomed us with warmth and ease. He chatted with us like we weren’t just “the late-night customers” and went above and beyond by offering the freshest ingredients possible—*right before closing.* Corbin deserves a raise, a bonus, or even a feature on *Undercover Boss.* Whatever recognition he gets, it won’t be enough. “In town for the weekend and this Panera location was right next door to my hotel which I greatly appreciated. The hotel has a bistro that serves breakfast (paid, not free), but I figured I’d go with what I know instead of unfamiliar.

I go over around 8:30AM, the store is pretty empty expect for me and one other customer but it was super clean and immaculate. The cashier was friendly, quick & efficient. I was excited to try the new CinnaCrunch Banana Greek Yogurt Parfait so I I ordered it to go along with a breakfast sandwich, coffee and a pastry to snack on later.

My order was completed in a timely fashion and I love the electronic kiosk on the wall that tracks your order as it’s prepared, great addition Panera! And like I counted on everything was made fresh and was tasty. The smell of the hazelnut coffee as it was pouring from the carafe was invigorating, woke me right up! My experience at this location was everything that an experience at any Panera should be, everything was pretty perfect.

P.S. They have an actual drive through! Haven’t seen a drive through back at home.“
