“The Pastry Zone is truly one of my favorite bakeries! Everything is absolutely delicious, and you can tell they put so much care into every pastry and dessert. The decoration is beautiful and creates such a warm, inviting atmosphere.

What really makes this place special, though, is the incredibly kind and genuine service. The staff always treats every customer with warmth, care, and a personal touch that makes you feel truly welcome. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of amazing food, a gorgeous space, and such heartfelt hospitality. I can’t recommend The Pastry Zone enough!“

“Fresh donuts are the best kept secret of SE Austin. Their donuts are the best we've had in Austin. Their kolaches are also very delicious. This is hands down the only place I get my donuts from. You can't go wrong with choosing any style and flavor. I especially like the apple fritter. They know how to fry these and make them deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not mushy like some other places. I highly recommend Fresh donuts to everyone. Staff is also very friendly.“

“We ordered conchas from Abuelita’s Bakery Spot for our wedding, and they were an absolute hit! So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night to tell us how delicious they were. They ended up being one of the most talked-about desserts of the evening.

The team at Abuelita’s Bakery Spot was wonderful to work with from the beginning. Our point of contact even set up a tasting for us months in advance, which gave us the chance to try everything and talk about how we wanted the conchas to look for our wedding. One of the things that really stood out was how they were able to customize the sugar topping colors to match our wedding perfectly. Our colors were lavender and sage green, and they did an amazing job matching them. The conchas looked beautiful and tied in perfectly with our wedding aesthetic.

We ordered 300 conchas, and they were so good that there were barely any left by the end of the night. Guests kept going back for more, and we were even sharing them with our vendors because we wanted everyone to try them!

Pickup was very easy as well. Everything was boxed and organized, making it simple for us to transport them to the venue.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Abuelita’s Bakery Spot. The conchas were delicious, beautifully made, and such a fun and unique dessert option for our wedding. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for amazing baked goods for an event!“

“I love this song place!!!! I came for the first time this Sunday! The conchas are so soft, the tacos are amazing and the salsa is so flavorful. You can tell they put heart into their food and business. I am really happy I finally came and tried it. I will be coming more often.“

“First of all, the best gingerbread cookies we’ve ever had. So delicious! We love all of the decorations they put up through the year (but they really go bonkers at Halloween and Christmas and we walk by almost daily between September-January haha). And we love getting a gingerbread house to decorate during the holidays! All of the treats are amazing. We recently got to try some of the Boozy Bonbons and while the wine flavor is front and center at first, as you savor it the chocolate gets a chance to melt in and shine through and the flavor combo is great! Can’t recommend everything The Gingerbread House has to offer enough!“

July 2026 update: Sugar Mama’s made us the cutest gender reveal cake! They were able to make the cake our wedding cake flavor which was so so special.“

“My birthday cake was purchased here and it was absolutely delicious! Not only that, but it was gorgeous too. We opted for a heart shaped 6 inch cake with Victorian piping that had roses and cherries on top along with a pretty pearl bow. The decorating alone must've taken a long time and for the price we are very satisfied with the final product. Pickup was easy and the flavor was bomb! It was an almond cake with sliced almonds baked in, and raspberry preserve filling, iced with almond buttercream. This was by far one of the best cakes I have ever had. It was super fresh and soft inside too, with a very thoughtful ratio of filling and buttercream. We will definitely be shopping here again!“

Your pastries will stay fresh longer than your local grocery store. I don’t know what they put in it but they’re so soft and just take them home and put them in a zippy zip bag and they will stay fresh. Unlike other stores they will not get dry. They stay soft for a good amount of time, try everything here you will not be disappointed. It’s pretty fun getting my own pastries using a tray and tongs. Cool experience. “I don’t normally write reviews but I have to show the Mobile Moon location the love they deserve. Lived in Austin for over a year and come here about 3-4 times a week. And when I’m not there, I’m using their moon milk they sell while making my own espresso at home. The staff is always friendly, my order is always consistent, the pickup window is quickly attended when in a rush, the parking always has a spot open. Can’t say enough about how amazing this place and location is!“

Bella did a great job making several drinks (3 for the person in front of me, then my one drink) at once while dealing with a customer's complaint. Bella did not miss a beat! Made the drinks while trying to explain things to the customer in a calm and professional manner. My drink was perfect. Will be back to this location.“
