“Wow, where do I even begin! This is probably like my favorite place ever. However, this last visit was truly spot on. I am always greeted when I walk in the door, and if I EVER have a question about how to order, the friendly staff there is always ready to help. The cookies always taste so fresh, and genuinely look forward to going there. What truly makes this place special is the people that work there. This one girl who works there I see all the time, so I finally asked her what her name is: Anna! Please give my girl a raise, she works so hard and makes the atmosphere amazing! 10/10 will ALWAYS come back!“

“At 67 years old I've eaten more pastries than I should have and I can honestly say without a doubt the raspberry kolache that I had at Teal House is far and away the best pastry that I've ever eaten in my entire life. The sad part is I don't live in Texas so all I can do is dream about them until I'm back in town.“

“I love this song place!!!! I came for the first time this Sunday! The conchas are so soft, the tacos are amazing and the salsa is so flavorful. You can tell they put heart into their food and business. I am really happy I finally came and tried it. I will be coming more often.“

“Best donuts that I have had in Austin. This is a simple neighborhood donut shop that hits above its class. The classic glaze and coconut are my favorite. This place still uses butter! You can taste it in their product. Everyone in south east Austin should make this place their go to.“

“This is the freshest and most affordable breakfast in town! Absolutely delicious. The tacos were bigger than I expected and the fresh tortillas were so good. We got a handful of conchas and empanadas as well and all were very, very good. My only regret is not getting food from here sooner!“

“Absolutely magical! Not only is the Gingerbread House the most amazing Christmas experience, she has tasty treats and she even makes Freshies! I have gotten so many compliments about how awesome my car smells! 😀 It’s not over powering like most store bought car fresheners. I highly recommend everyone go see The Gingerbread House and pickup some of her wonderful holiday items.“

“Hayley Cakes and Cookies did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding cake. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional, and the final result exceeded our expectations. We chose a three-tier almond cake with almond buttercream, and it was truly one of the most delicious cakes we’ve ever had.
The almond flavor was perfectly balanced—light, fragrant, and not overly sweet. Each layer was incredibly moist and soft, while the almond buttercream added a rich, creamy texture that paired beautifully with the cake. Guests kept coming up to us during the reception to say how good it was, and many even went back for seconds.
Not only did the cake taste incredible, but it also looked beautiful. The presentation was elegant and fit perfectly with the style of our wedding. It felt like a centerpiece that brought everything together.
What really stood out was the quality and care that clearly went into the cake. You can tell Hayley Cakes and Cookies uses great ingredients and puts real thought into their baking. For such an important day, it meant a lot to have something that tasted just as good as it looked.

“Went in here about a month ago and I can't wait to go back. The girl behind the counter was patient, sweet and helped recommend the chocolate ganache brownie. So glad I listened to her, I will be ordering that everytime I go back now. I also had a cupcake with a cookie dough like frosting and cookie piece as a topping which was so delicious! I enjoyed everything I purchased, and would definitely recommend.“

“The pastry zone made our baby shower cake, everyone loved loved the chocolate cake and the decorations were on point and as I asked them to be. Prices were reasonable. Overall very happy with the experience of getting a custom cake with them and will definitely return! ☺️“
