“Our first time there and the experience was wonderful. It started with great service, by Rebecka. We chatted with some customers seated at the next table, who shared their secrets. Come before six pm and get the pizza rolls as appetizers. We came with the intent to get pizza but ended up getting some shrimp dishes, spaghetti and meatballs, plus chicken parm. All the dishes were great. This is our new favotite Italian restaurant.“

“Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. Food was delicious, cutomer service was excellent, I truly love the atmosphere and recommend it 100%“

“My husband and I picked Umberto’s for date night tonight and amazing is an understatement!! From the delicious fried calamari and rolls to the yummy eggplant parm and Umberto’s pasta,EVERYTHING was absolutely incredible!! The service was fast,friendly and on point!! Our server,Melissa,was so friendly and made sure that we were well taken care of!! All the staff was welcoming,the environment was quaint and laidback and the overall experience was great!! 10/10,We DEFINITELY will be back!!“

“My husband and I just left after eating some of the most delicious foods! The red fish and baby scallops ceviche was so fresh, the brie bruschetta was amazing with a great flavor mix from the tomato-pepper marmelade, I had the quail with chorizo grits and black beans, what a delicous combination! And my husband had the lamb with mint and goat mashed potatoes with grilled asparagus: this was like fireworks in your mouth! We finished with the Amaretto crême brûlée, and the bread pudding with cinnamon ice-cream, what a treat!!!

Spoke with server about poor service and requested company contact, She declined and informed me that it wouldn’t do any good, because she was quitting. “The fam loves OG, but every time I have it, it hits my tum tum like a freight train. I think I’ve become lactose intolerant now that I’m older ‘cause pizza and OG just mess my stomach up. It’s nothing against OG though their food is well prepared and fresh and clean. They also have lots of non dairy and other options!“

“I haven’t been to this restaurant for years. Their breadsticks were known to be either burnt or too salty. Today, we decided to try out to see. Food that I ordered came out perfectly and breadsticks were so delicious. Additionally, our server, Jessica S, was very friendly and attentive. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner. “Such a great place to have lunch. We found this place several weeks ago. Great buffet of pizza includes a choice of salads. You can eat as much as you want. So many other options to choose from also if you don’t want the buffet. Very relaxing and great place to meet up with others. Staff is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. “Initially I went to grimaldis and waited for 20 minutes with no service. Mind you I only have 45 minutes for lunch. I walked over, was greeted immediately, given a table, ordered, had hot fresh baked bread come out to my table, my order followed about 5 minutes after! It’s delicious!the customer service here is beyond any of the other businesses at La Cantera!“

“It’s is very nice, but surprisingly quiet. The food was ok. I ordered chicken Parmesan and it would have been excellent, but it was cold. My husband and daughter shared pizza and wings and they were happy. The service was ok, but all the employees looked tired and ready for the day to end. I’ll give them another try earlier in the evening next time.“

“I pass this place every time I come to the mall because I like to park in the back because it's a shorter walk to one store I love. So today was the day I stopped by and grabbed some chicken fettuccine Alfredo it looked so good I didn't pass it up this time. I decided to get the large so it would last several meals for me because it's a huge serving. It came with a piece of bread I am unsure of what kind but ally food is super tasty, fresh, and very delicious. The portion showing in my own plate is maybe 1/3 of the serving I got. The service was super great Able helped me today and answered every question I had. He was kind and super helpful I truly appreciated the great customer service. “We arrived as the restaurant was opening for the day at 11:00am. The soup and salad lunch was very good and our wait staff was attentive and helpful. There were two large groups of people there celebrating birthdays, so the noise level was a bit higher than at other times I have been, but it was still a good eating experience.“

“My car stalled right in front of North Italia in San Antonio at The Rim. I had my autistic daughter with me. I had lost my husband two months ago and I was in a panic and beyond stressed. I needed help pushing my car into a parking spot safely as my car couldn’t drive. The manager came out and helped push my car to safety. He offered us water or to make a pizza and I said no thank you that is very kind of you but we will come and eat inside while we wait for the tow truck. The minute I sat down, nothing but the best service. They were so understanding because of my daughter’s special needs and the stressful situation we were in that they were able to go above and beyond for us. My daughter calmed down and was happy. The food was really good. I am Italian and very picky as you can understand why, so I was impressed with the taste and quality. I for sure will be back! Sincerely, I can’t thank them enough.“

“Starting eating from Mattenga's recently and it's been a great experience. The pizza is consistently fresh and the ingredients taste of high quality. I pick up pizza from Mattenga's weekly and have never been disappointed. Mike, at the Callaghan Rd. location, is a pleasure to deal with.
