“Our first time there and the experience was wonderful. It started with great service, by Rebecka. We chatted with some customers seated at the next table, who shared their secrets. Come before six pm and get the pizza rolls as appetizers. We came with the intent to get pizza but ended up getting some shrimp dishes, spaghetti and meatballs, plus chicken parm. All the dishes were great. This is our new favotite Italian restaurant.“

“Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. Food was delicious, cutomer service was excellent, I truly love the atmosphere and recommend it 100%“

“The food was so delicious, but man, was it FREEEEZING in there. It was so cold that even the food got cold after 5 minutes. The staff was wonderful, though. We would have stayed longer, and gotten more drinks and dessert, but the temperature made it all pretty unpleasant. 😢“

Spoke with server about poor service and requested company contact, She declined and informed me that it wouldn’t do any good, because she was quitting. I frequently travel to the area and will have to find another Italian restaurant with employees wanting to work there and serve.“

“Once again, Paesanos 1604 was a treat! We were a party of 10, celebrating Mama's 93rd birthday and the staff graciously moved our original table that would have been in front of the kitchen to the solarium. This gave us a great space where Mama could see and hear everyone. The food, as always, was delicious!!

We started with appetizers of Angus Sirloin Carpaccio, Shrimp Paesanos, Crispy Eggplant Stack, Grilled Artichokes, Blue Mussels, Sherried Crab Soup, and the amazing Appetizer Tower that were all very well prepared and flavorful! Our favorites were...everything (We LOVE appetizers!).

The entrees of Lobster Ravioli, Jalapeno Pesto Fazzaletti, Paesanos Fish of the day, Red Fish Fra Diavolo, Pan Seared Day Boat Scallops, Baked Ziti Bolognese, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Caprese Salad were equally tasty and loved by all!

Add to this the crusty bread with olive oil and hummus, the tasty house salads, and the wonderful wines and cocktails, al of which made for a memorable family meal.

Finally, with the excellent service of Wes and the other staff and the beautiful ambience of Paesanos, we have found a family favorite for our treasured family get-togethers!“

“I love me some Italian food! & yessss I ordered all that food! I had to try it ALL! The Albi’s variety mix, which was mozzarella sticks, calamari, & fried shrimp, & then I had the chicken Alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs & the lobster bisque soup & Ed got his usual!!! “First time here and I enjoyed the delicious food. They bring you some garlic bread before your food which was great to start off and while you wait. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and shrimp, and for dessert I had the cheesecake. “Went there for dinner with our kids. Ordered a large pizza, wings (was out of the flavor we wanted) 2 Caesar salads, 2 soft drinks and 4 waters. We see 6 soft drinks on the screen and say we only wanted 2. Lady says they charge for water. 3$ for tap water? Ok fine, whatever.

Some guy brings out the 2 Caesar salads. Says something about not being able to find the dressing. Another lady comes out and says they are out of Caesar dressing and offer us other options. Pizza comes out and we ask for a side of ranch dressing. Lady looks us dead in the eyes and says they are $.99.

So after charging us $12 for tap water, messing up the Caesar salads, they now want another $1 for a tiny side of ranch dressing?

Needless to say, we will never step foot back in this place.

Edit: was contacted by the company and they made it right. Which to me, says a lot. Not many companies are willing to do that lately. Changing to 4 stars.

“Such a great place to have lunch. We found this place several weeks ago. Great buffet of pizza includes a choice of salads. You can eat as much as you want. So many other options to choose from also if you don’t want the buffet. Very relaxing and great place to meet up with others. Staff is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. This is my favorite pizza place.“

“Initially I went to grimaldis and waited for 20 minutes with no service. Mind you I only have 45 minutes for lunch. I walked over, was greeted immediately, given a table, ordered, had hot fresh baked bread come out to my table, my order followed about 5 minutes after! It’s delicious!the customer service here is beyond any of the other businesses at La Cantera!“

“Everytime we visit the mall this is the first stop. My kids love the pizza. Today my daughter saw the spaghetti and meatballs and had to have that. She didn’t choose wrong. It was delicious. Meatballs are extra in cost but I couldn’t resist these huge meatballs. We got the plain noodles . They have another spaghetti noodles with I think it was with tomato’s and peppers. It looked yummy. She got the small and should have gotten the lg as I had a bite of hers and could have eaten it all. It came with a piece of garlic bread. I normally just have a bite of my kids but I will definitely get my own plate next time.
The servers were so nice and helpful. When we have to move (mil fam) I’m going to miss this place.“

“Taylor was a great server got me extra waters for the spicy pasta, speaking of the pasta the Calabrian steak and shrimp was literally the best thing I’ve ever consumed, the steak was tender and cooked perfectly and the shrimp was delicious and the spaghetti with the spicy sauce genuinely tied it together in a tasty delicious bow. De’an stopped by and checked in on us, I really enjoyed the dinner the environment and the restrooms were clean as well. I’m definitely bringing my mom here next week for dinner. 10/10“

“The entire staff is amazing. We went to eat there one evening and my husband forgot his work on call phone. We didn’t realize it until we were at home on the other side of town. When we drove back, they were closed. But two workers were outside talking and they called the manager Jen who drove to the restaurant even though she was at home and didn’t even work that day just to open up the restaurant and give us the phone. AMAZING team who definitely went way above and beyond to help us!!“

I'm not a fan of alot Marinara sauce on my Pizza but this Sauce is the Real Deal! I Should try the Spagetti or Lasagna next time I'm in town just for the sauce.“

“My car stalled right in front of North Italia in San Antonio at The Rim. I had my autistic daughter with me. I had lost my husband two months ago and I was in a panic and beyond stressed. I needed help pushing my car into a parking spot safely as my car couldn’t drive. The manager came out and helped push my car to safety. He offered us water or to make a pizza and I said no thank you that is very kind of you but we will come and eat inside while we wait for the tow truck. The minute I sat down, nothing but the best service. They were so understanding because of my daughter’s special needs and the stressful situation we were in that they were able to go above and beyond for us. My daughter calmed down and was happy. The food was really good. I am Italian and very picky as you can understand why, so I was impressed with the taste and quality. I for sure will be back! Sincerely, I can’t thank them enough.“
