“Our first time there and the experience was wonderful. It started with great service, by Rebecka. We chatted with some customers seated at the next table, who shared their secrets. Come before six pm and get the pizza rolls as appetizers. We came with the intent to get pizza but ended up getting some shrimp dishes, spaghetti and meatballs, plus chicken parm. All the dishes were great. This is our new favotite Italian restaurant.“

“Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. Food was delicious, cutomer service was excellent, I truly love the atmosphere and recommend it 100%“

“My husband and I picked Umberto’s for date night tonight and amazing is an understatement!! From the delicious fried calamari and rolls to the yummy eggplant parm and Umberto’s pasta,EVERYTHING was absolutely incredible!! The service was fast,friendly and on point!! Our server,Melissa,was so friendly and made sure that we were well taken care of!! “We had an amazing experience at Parry’s thanks to Ariana and paige. They were super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfect. The food was incredible, especially the pizza and wings, but Ariana and paiges service really made the visit stand out. She kept checking on us, had a great attitude, and made us feel welcomed the whole time. Definitely one of the best servers we’ve had — we’ll be coming back for sure!“

My table felt like royalty and that meant a lot in these times, being treated with this kind of service and care makes you want to keep coming back. “Celebrated Fathers day with my dad and a couple of our family friends and their families. Despite the terrible traffic outside due to the road closures and construction, on the inside you easily forget about those troubles. The entire staff was attentive and patient despite having a toddler with us. The food was amazing, as per the usual Olive Garden standard. “Went there for dinner with our kids. Ordered a large pizza, wings (was out of the flavor we wanted) 2 Caesar salads, 2 soft drinks and 4 waters. We see 6 soft drinks on the screen and say we only wanted 2. Lady says they charge for water. 3$ for tap water? Ok fine, whatever.

Some guy brings out the 2 Caesar salads. Says something about not being able to find the dressing. Another lady comes out and says they are out of Caesar dressing and offer us other options. Pizza comes out and we ask for a side of ranch dressing. Lady looks us dead in the eyes and says they are $.99.

So after charging us $12 for tap water, messing up the Caesar salads, they now want another $1 for a tiny side of ranch dressing?

Needless to say, we will never step foot back in this place.

Edit: was contacted by the company and they made it right. Which to me, says a lot. Not many companies are willing to do that lately. Changing to 4 stars.

For what it’s worth, the food was actually pretty good. It was just the over all experience from the staff that ruined it.“

“Our server Diego was very nice and Helpful when explaining the menu. This was my wife and I first time trying this place. We ordered alot. Surprisingly it was on $82. All the food was good. The soup was good. My wife got the sirloin and fettuccine i got the taste of Italy. The Bread sticks was flavorless. A bit disappointing. The salad was fresh huge pass on the olives, hehe. “Initially I went to grimaldis and waited for 20 minutes with no service. Mind you I only have 45 minutes for lunch. I walked over, was greeted immediately, given a table, ordered, had hot fresh baked bread come out to my table, my order followed about 5 minutes after! “Such a great place to have lunch. We found this place several weeks ago. Great buffet of pizza includes a choice of salads. You can eat as much as you want. So many other options to choose from also if you don’t want the buffet. Very relaxing and great place to meet up with others. Staff is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. “The best pizza I’ve ever had in San Antonio is this place. They have the most delicious halal versions of traditional toppings like soudjuk (pepperoni), chicken, meatballs, and pastrami. My family and I are thrilled to have a halal high-quality pizza and pide option in town.“

My child order the spaghetti and pizza and to my surprise ate every bite of the spaghetti. He was not a fan of the pizza but the Manager was accommodating and switched it for more pasta. I know its dumb but my favorite part was the Dr Pepper. I feel like it was the best one Ive had in a Long Time and I even got one to go. Our server was great I don't think I got his name, but he did check on us and not in a way were I felt like I was being rushed or neglected. He made sure we had what we needed. “My first time at Rita's. Cosy, great staff/service. Really great menu. The dishes I ordered were delicious and well presented. It was my friend's birthday and they made just the right amount of fuss with a little candle in a dessert and a card which was a lovely touch. “My car stalled right in front of North Italia in San Antonio at The Rim. I had my autistic daughter with me. I had lost my husband two months ago and I was in a panic and beyond stressed. I needed help pushing my car into a parking spot safely as my car couldn’t drive. The manager came out and helped push my car to safety. He offered us water or to make a pizza and I said no thank you that is very kind of you but we will come and eat inside while we wait for the tow truck. The minute I sat down, nothing but the best service. They were so understanding because of my daughter’s special needs and the stressful situation we were in that they were able to go above and beyond for us. My daughter calmed down and was happy. The food was really good. I am Italian and very picky as you can understand why, so I was impressed with the taste and quality. I for sure will be back! Sincerely, I can’t thank them enough.“
