“So I rolled up to this place at 7:54 on a Sunday and they closed at 8 and turned around to get back in my car because I didn't want to be a jerk and the guy started waving me to come in while he was cleaning up! Any place that is willing to joyfully take my business at quitting time is getting 5 stars! Not to mention their açaís bowls were yummy!“

“My juicing journey started about a year almost 2 years ago. Mary was very kind and answered all of my million of questions. Other people who have worked with her and delivered to me were just as kind and amazing. Felt like I was talking with friends. The juices are wonderful and I usually do a 3 day and by day 3 I feel so amazing [its my fault for not keeping my system clean the following days lol] i feel prices are very reasonable and love her mission! Juicing experience you cam eat and snack on veggies/ fruits almonds during cleanse. Sometimes id get a little fog but by day 2 and 3 I was over coming that and felt great! But like I said if you have questions she will be sure to help answer them!“

“I dont know how I hadnt heard of this place before! My friend n i went Wednesday n OMG it was delicious! I tasted the Columbian n coconut but instead ordered the acai bowl. Although it was good I should have stuck with the ones I tried. Went back on Saturday. This time o had the coconut, mango n Brazilian and I LOVED IT! My daughter had other flavors n my grandson had the Nutella. We will definitely be recommending this place n going back for sure!!!!“

“So today I decided to try out a sweet little gem right down the street from me. It's in a plaza on Babcock and if you blink you might miss it and what a shame that would be! When I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by the owner who told me about the items on the menu in detail. I thought about getting a shake but I pivoted towards the teas. I got the Strait Hit for myself and the Tipsy Tarpon for my fiancé. Each tea comes with a natural energy boost to prevent crashing. I can't believe I've gone to Starbucks over a dozen times and drove right past this place. I won't make that mistake again. I absolutely love the flavor of both teas and will be back to try others. They have an extensive menu that is also customizable. They even have to-go packets where you can mix the drinks yourself later on. This is a small business and is woman-owned so please support! They've made a lifetime customer.“

“Favorite coffee spot, hands down! Always fast and friendly service. My favorite order is either the hot Avalanche or the frozen Avalanche in the summer. Delicious! Prices are comparable (maybe a bit more reasonable) to other nearby coffee locations. Love the convenience of the drive thru.“

“Yesterday was my first time at Playa bowls. I am so thankful for the staff to be patient with me after I looked over the entire menu. I tried the electric mermaid bowl with half pitaya and half mango base and added bananas. Super delicious. I couldn't finish it all. 1 bowl with a small tip plus the extra bananas was $16.80. It was a little expensive but you're literally getting a ton of fruit in one bowl. I was curious if there was a bowl that would be more diabetic friendly. Definitely going back.“

They don't quite the variety that BR has, but they have stuff that's more ethnic than BR too. Tamirindo would never be in the national chains! The ice cream comes in large portions, for a small price. When I went, I couldn't quite identify the smell- not ice cream. Then, I figured it out- corn! I never would've thought to get my corn at an ice cream shop, but they have it! They offer stuff to eat there, with limited seating, or you can take it to go. The ambiance leaves some to be desired. The walls are all white, blank, boring. They need fun artwork. They should have cool stuff to look at while you eat ice cream. There's a bit of outdoor seating, but they could use some shade. The service was swift and friendly. They offered samples. I've learned that the hours don't match what's online.“

“My search for great corn in a cup begins here. I got a size 2 cup and looks like it comes with well corn, mayo, parmesan and some sort of chili powder. Might be other stuff in it, but I'm not sure. Taste pretty good to me with only one complaint. I'm just missing the spice I'd get from the corn in the cups I've gotten in houston. I need the sauce that burns my mouth with every bite! We went on a weekday evening, and were the only ones there for a bit (which quickly changed) and I had a mint chocolate chip shake, which was excellent. Taking a look at the nutrition facts online, I'm a bit disappointed that they put so much sugar in these things, and that you have to ask for a healthier option (like Splenda, or maybe no added sugar). The service was great, though. It took me a while to choose something as I had to avoid seeds after the surgery, but the person behind the counter was very patient and helpful.“
