“I had the best pimento cheese sandwich I’ve ever had in my life at Eis. My husband had the roast beef sandwich. He’s not one to go in and on over food but he even said it was the best sandwich he’d had. Make sure to treat yourself to some of their homemade ice cream- it is heavenly.“

“Stopped at this restaurant while driving through Hico in route to Fredericksburg, upon recommendation from a friend. The historic hotel was quaint, and the restaurant was amazing. Great choices on the menu. The brisket queso was delicious as was the Reuben sandwich. The restaurant was clean and had great service. Would highly recommend if you are in town or passing through.“
