“Honestly the best fastfood burger I have had. Even tops some sit down burger spots. Shoe string fries are crispy and well seasoned. There hasn't been anything that I have tried, that I haven't liked. Now if they take the high fructose out of the fry sauce we'd be golden!“

“My husband picked up our food through the drive thru. He got to the house and our order was not correct. My mother in law dealt with hers being wrong. But, I wanted specifically what I ordered. I drove back and the lady at the counter who was working both counter and drive through was very nice. She had a fresh meal made for me. I appreciate the costumer service and I completely understand sometimes messing things up. Especially, since it looked like she was the only one there. The food was perfect! Super tasty and fresh.“

“Came to celebrate my sister in law and brother in law’s birthdays, so we had 11 people total. Arrived by noon and they were able to get us all seated pretty quickly! I didn’t hear any complaints about food, but I will say The Sundance Kid burger I had was DELICIOUS! If you can’t decide what side to get between fries, chips, or onion rings… skip the fries! The chips were pure deliciousness in my mouth and my husband and daughter swore up and down the onion rings were the best they ever had. Sophie was very attentive and personable and didn’t mind my 6yo talking too much, which is always a plus when people have patience for the youngest of the younger crowd! Between the atmosphere (even the bathrooms smelled nice and were super clean!), the wonderful staff, and the delicious burgers, we would love to come back! “One of the best burgers we’ve had in a very long time! They’re huge and the buns they use are soft and pair well with their 1/2 Patties. I had the mushroom burger and hubby had the jalapeño burger. Their seasoned fries and onion rings were good too, the breading on the onion rings didn’t fall off after the first bite. We def will be back to try their other burgers and to support this local mom and pop business.

I ordered the Double Jungle Burger with an added twist; Philly cheesesteak on top. Basically turned it into a Triple Threat, and it was amazing.

Got it with sweet potato fries and a large drink. I completely cleaned my plate; everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor.

The lobby was empty, which honestly surprised me… because this place used to be the go-to spot for burgers.

DFW!! y’all are sleeping on Burger Island.
It’s still one of the BEST burger joints in the metroplex. Solid portions, wild flavor combos, and super underrated.

“🍳 Sunday Brunch Review – J. Macklin’s (Coppell, TX) 🍳 My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch at J. Macklin’s and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, perfect for a weekend meal. We did have an extended wait (they were out of biscuits 😅), but I have to give major credit to the management and wait staff. They handled it extremely well and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Truly phenomenal service, they turned the situation around and made us feel taken care of. We tried the Bacon Board, which has a fun concept but could use a little more creativity. Just maple syrup on bacon didn’t quite hit the mark, but with a little flair this could easily be their signature appetizer. Now the entrées were exceptional. ✔️ My wife’s Southern Benny was flavorful and perfectly executed. ✔️ I had the grilled cheese with a hearty tomato soup and fries and let me just say, those fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Bottom line: 🔹 Great vibe, 🔹 excellent main dishes, 🔹 and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I ordered four burgers and fries around 9:30 PM and they had to make new fries. They let me know it might take a few extra minutes. Majid was really helpful the whole time. He kept me updated and made sure I got my fries as soon as they were ready. The service was great and he took great care of my order.“

“This location has been my favorite since I moved into town! 10/10 recommend to anybody who wants quality food, with excellent service. I am normally a late night snacker, and the manager on shift ( I think her name is Brianna) has always been so kind to me and brings such a positive vibe to the establishment.This location stays busy for a reason, fresh food, amazing employees, and overall a comfortable dining experience :)
