“One of my favorite restaurants in the area! Although I'm probably biased because rice noodle soup is my favorite noodle soup. Rice noodles are just the best at absorbing the flavours of the broth, which makes them very rich in flavor.

I had the Mala Spicy soup which was delicious and actually spicy. You can get it in the cross the bridge version where you get to put the ingredients into the hot broth yourself, but you dont have to.

In general, the ingredients were all fresh. The restaurant was sparkling clean. And the water tasted really good.“

“Delicious, fun, cozy spot. Your food is delivered to your table by a cute robot. They have every kind of ramen and a nice menu selection of hand made dumplings plus fresh, flavorful rice dishes. I got the hibachi chicken which had large portions of chicken and fresh veggies. Be sure to also get dessert, the taiyaki icecream or icecream sandwich macarons and a boba tea.“

“Their Honey Walnut Shrimp will ruin you for anyone else's, it's THE BEST! The batter is crunchy, and the shrimp are tender. The sauce is amazing, sweet but not too sweet. The Salt and Pepper Squid is also very yummy. Make sure to eat it with the browned bits at the bottom of the plate, so good. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend giving them a try.“

“I ordered takeout from China Island Asian Grill for the first time yesterday and had a great experience from start to finish. I was greeted by friendly faces when I arrived, which immediately set the tone. I ordered the lunch special with orange chicken, and it did not disappoint. The chicken breast was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was unexpectedly and wonderfully spicy. The vegetables were fresh, and I can’t say enough about the sauces overall. “The portion of the noodles is huge. Food is delicious, place is very busy.
We gotta two soup noodles with braised beef and spicy chicken, and a tofu mix thousand-year-old egg appetizer.
Soup is fresh, flavor is great, perfect for a cold day. I really like the tofu appetizer as well, I’d like it with more thousand-year-old egg!

“My favorite chinese spot in Denton. Staff are always incredibly kind. If I have to wait several minutes in the drive thru for my order (which is never a problem, they make everything hot and fresh to order), sometimes they will give a free soda which is just sweet. The portions are huge and delicious, my favorite is the chicken lo mein. Love these guys ❤️“

“I came here for the lunch by chance and tried the beef with broccoli. The meat was fresh and tasty, and you can pair it with rice, fried rice or noodle. The meal also included spring rolls and soup, which made it very satisfying. I also tried the chicken “ soup dumplings”— full of rich broth and absolutely delicious!!

“When thinking of jjajangmyeon(짜장면) & Jjamppong(짬뽕) there's only 1 place that's worth visiting, and that place is here.

I had heard the owner had changed, and went with a couple of friends to see if the food was as good as I remembered (it had been a year or two since I had last eaten). We went when it wasn't too busy, and the owner greeted us in person and was super cordial! We got the the usuals (as seen above) and ordered the Kkanpunggi(깐풍기) and the Tangsuyuk(탕수육). Needless to say those were flavorful as well, and my party exited well fed and content.

Next time I'll have to ask if they can open a location in Houston, so that I don't have to drive 5 hours for some good jjajangmyeon....“

“I rated atmosphere as 4 bc the energy of the owners is kind and friendly.
My go to place now, I was very surprised at the freshness and flavor. This is not regular chop suey mambo jambo old tasting Chinese food. Nor is it oily..I've so far tried the garlic chicken and was soooo good. Wonton chicken and shrimp soup and beef egg rolls. I love that they have a non pork wonton.
Everyone with bad reviews is weird or maybe has their reasons but I'm very keen about taste and quality..and I rate this place on their game! Prices and portions are extremely fair.“

“I really like this malatang place! The lady is super nice, and the ambience is kind of noisy when there's other customers but quiet enough to where you can talk to each other. The self service aspect of this restaurant is really smart! The freshness of the vegetables and the meat enhances the eating experience here. “As I am an 86yr old creature of habit I always order the same each time. I love this store. Food always fresh and tasty and the portions are huge. I get 2 or more meals out of my order of about 22.00. Usually go on Sunday and eat during football game. Oh yeah my habit is vegetable chow mein with chicken. Fried rice. The folks here are very polite and friendly. They are a bit pricey compared to other Chinese restaurants I've been to, however it is worth it. “A fine Asian dining experience near I35 and 121 business! I told them medium spicy and they delivered! Delicious! When I eat at Panda I need to eat the black peppers to get a sufficient level of spicy. This place, not so. This place is 1000% better than Panda. A slightly humble atmosphere but quiet and clean. The sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, and fried rice were particularly popular! The portions were generous, and the presentation was neat. When I walked in I was not greeted, and when I tried to order the person at the counter kept walking away from me, could barely make eye contact, and I could never tell if she was actually hearing anything I was saying. But the food was awesome, so if you don't care about service in the slightest, this place is great.“
