all around great atmosphere!!
We went to the Bar 9 lounge within the hotel and Ed was our server, he was absolutely amazing!!! The drinks were delicious and he was so kind to us. He made our trip to Houston extra special!
I went to Bar 9 to grab a drink with my wife and what a great time it was thanks to Ed! The drinks were an absolute hit, highly recommend his Smoked Brisket Old Fashioned or BBQ Margarita. He really made our experience bright and had us smiling. Definitely make a stop there!

Bar 9 is a spacious and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are large, with two bathrooms and great amenities like blackout shades and fast elevators. The hotel has a bar and a take-out restaurant with decent food. However, there is no microwave in the rooms. The location is convenient for the medical centers, Rice University, and Hermann Park, but the neighborhood lacks markets and restaurants. Despite some minor issues, the outstanding service and room quality make it a great choice for future stays.
