My husband ordered egusi soup, but didn't give enough pounded yam. I had to cook some more at home to complete soup. We waited about 35 to 40 minutes. Very clean and nice atmosphere. It was very peaceful. Also enjoyed the nigerian music on flat screen tv.
Good stuffs first: Food was good! Jollof rice, spiced chicken, plantain and some vegetables! Great taste! I enjoyed it Negative part: The moment you enter the restaurant, you feel like you have entered a dark, creepy, abandoned nightclub! The restaurant smells like the kitchen! Lol and worst part is there is no one at the counter or in the restaurant area! Waited for 8 mins till someone cared to show up!

The owner is very nice & lovely. Like any restaurant it does take time to make a made to order meal.So, call in advance. My husband and i came in December 2021, we were on a trip and didnt discover this gem untill towards our last few days in Houston. We ate here back to back. Food was delicious.
