My sister had a dermatologist appointment across the street and we saw this and thought yeah let's try it for lunch. We have always wanted to try Korean Chicken but I have a kid with a sesame allergy but we were kid free. We have 0 regrets about this. It was amazing, literally the best chicken we have ever had. This place gets a generous 3*, mainly because of the concept amd menu options. The food was a solid 3 at best. The service was a solid 1 on a Saturday at 4pm. Guess were waiting too long to even get a menu. No server checked on any tables. They either need more staff or better customer service.
I went on a Saturday and really enjoyed the food. However, the service was slow since the place was crowded and there didn’t seem to be enough staff to serve everyone on time.
Dak & Bop serves top-notch Korean fried chicken, with crispy and juicy pieces in various flavors, including seasonal, soy garlic, medium spicy, and Sriracha. The restaurant offers delicious food, such as the kimchi fries and a tasty tofu sandwich for vegetarians. The portions are large, and the wings are especially praised as some of the best. The place is small and cute, with friendly staff and attentive service that helps make each visit enjoyable. Customers also enjoy the house salad, dumplings, and lavender lemonade, while noting that the food is consistently delicious. The chicken "tenders" were more like cutlets. The sweet spicy sauce and soy garlic sauce were enjoyed. The French fries and kimchi perfectly balance the meal. The portions were massive. The server was amazing, explained everything and was very attentive.
