Went back during a recent visit to Houston, as this used to be one of my favorite and most reliable Mexican places there. Oh boy, how times have changed. In a nutshell: prices have gone up while portions have shrunken. You pay about 30-40% more while getting 30-40% less food on the plate. Chips and salsa are no longer free and automatically delivered to your table once you sit down. Even the iced tea is very weak and watered down! My daughter was craving food truck tacos and we came across the El Taquito.I noticed on the meat selection they don't offer lengua bummer.We placed our orders for birria and barbacoa tacos along with a beef fajita torta.The cost for the food was not pricey.The food was pretty good and service was extremely quick after you place your order.In addition they have the option to call in your order to pick up.We will probably return to try some other items.
