Incredible authentic Mexican food the taste brought nostalgic memories of my childhood my grandmother tias cooking from Mexico. My husband and I will be regulars!
Let me start off by saying this is the best cafe de olla we’ve had! The fruit juice was so refreshing. The chilaquiles de birria with eggs in green salsa were good. Food here is delicious and authentic with savory taste! Highly recommend if you’re in Houston, TX.

Based on reviews, Fonda Santa Rosa is a hidden gem and the spot for good Mexican food. Everything is amazing, with great food, great service, and great ambiance. The food is absolutely delicious and packed with flavor in every bite. The chilaquiles with cochinita pibil, corn quesadillas, pamboza, omelette ranchero, and pancakes are all delicious. The Cafe De Olla is very tasty. The tres leches and flan are fantastic. The service is on top, the staff is very friendly, and the chef always makes time to greet customers. The prices are really good for the quality of food. Parking is easy, and the restaurant is super cute and clean inside. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Houston.
