Went to Jimmy G's for the 1st time with Tom and Linda Julian and their girls today. Food was excellent, staff was excellent and of course my company was excellent. Wish I would of visited earlier.

My wife was craving the Seafood Platter and I was worried we wouldn't get a hardy serving for take out vs dinning in. Needless to say, our platter was just as good and cheaper than Pappas Seafood. Food is delicious...one of Houston's best kept secrets.

The food is/was fantastic! I've had the whole fried catfish (you get two) and I've had their poboys I love it. It's hearty servings and the service for me had been good. It's clean I didn't see or notice any type of bugs or trash laying around and everything looked to be up to par. If you order fried fish though ask them to fry it just a little longer to get the crispy crust on the batter. Great food and good service
