My boyfriend and I had such a nice meal at L.A. Bar/ Rajin Cajun! We ordered the half dozen oysters on the half shell, the Happy Hour dozen grilled oysters for $20, cup of shrimp and crab gumbo, and fried shrimp po boy. Oysters were plump and delicious, gumbo was good but a bit too much black pepper? Po boy was huge and good and service was amazing! Shout out to Yo (Yolanda) we'll be back to see her and have more oysters very soon!!
Contrary to Yelpers' info, this restaurant is NOT closed. I got my first taste of char-grilled oysters there, in November of 2019. They were delicious! I showed the manager the Yelp listing as closed. He was befuddled. Please remove this notification.

The happy hour oysters are the best deal in town. The baked oysters are incredible, as are the shrimp and grits. We were the only people in the restaurant when we went, so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere.
