Great authentic food. Associates were very friendly and helpful since I don't speak Spanish. The ones working didn't speak English but were patient while I used my Google translate app. Food was delicious and everything I crave in authentic Mexican food. 5 stars all around!
We come here every time we can. The papusas are delicious. The curtado tends spicier than usual, but compliments them well. The tamales need a paragraph to themselves. Probably a chapter. They are nothing like Mexican beyond the basic description of filling in masa. These, however, are a tender, angelic combination of filling and masa almost like polenta. I don't know why this place has a few stars. The prices are moderate. They have a slew of baked goods. I ordered a spinach pupusa. That's the first time I see a spinach and veggie pupusa. The size is generous and it's served with the usual tomato sauce and the cabbage (curtido.) The pupusa was quite good. I had a pineapple agua fresca. It wasn't overly sweet.
