This place is an institution and testament to why everyone should protest METRO's halfcocked almost entirely useless expansions. Lenox BBQ will remind you of family reunions and the good times, the BBQ is a firm representation of classic Houston BBQ. I've been having Lenox's barbecue for more than 20 years, even back when they had a full restaurant, before the Houston Metro light rail built the line on Harrisburg.I don't recall ever having a bad meal from there. The chopped beef sandwiches are great, as well as the pork ribs, sausage, and sliced brisket. Also, their sides are good. Coleslaw, potato salad, and sweet potatoes are my favorites.

Lenox Barbecue has always been the go-to restaurant when my family needs brisket or ribs or Thanksgiving turkeys and the best food service for many many years!! I've grown to know them personally and would never change or go somewhere else for the best BBQ in Houston...Kid-friendliness: Yes my kids love all the food they sell there especially the baked potatoes !!!! And fries!!!
