Not sure if I got lucky judging off the reviews but I actually enjoyed my food when I ordered late night at 2:30am. I had no complaints so they must have stepped up their game!
The use msg
Food was mid my main query was that there was only 2 shrimp in my shrimp fried rice I do recommend you ask for extra shrimp but good food overall

Mr Soysauce Chinese is a warm and welcoming place with plenty of parking. The Soup Bourbon Chicken Specialty Rice and lo mein noodles were delicious. Vegetarian options are available, providing a comfort food feel. The bourbon chicken and fried rice were particularly outstanding, with the best bourbon chicken ever tasted. A great spot for late-night dining or a family meal after a day at the Houston Zoo.
