Rieu Cua Bellaire is a small, quiet mom & pop restaurant serving delicious authentic Vietnamese food. The bun rieu is pretty good, but the com tam suon bi chi is real good, probably the closest to Vietnam in the US. The suon has that char smell from Vietnam, and the nuoc mam makes the dish great. The bun rieu dac biet is definitely the best bun rieu in the states, with a good seafood and tomato flavor without being too fishy; asking for more shrimp paste elevates it to the next level. The egg rolls are excellent, nice and crispy. The shaken beef and macaroni have a wonderful wok hei (smokiness/char). The bun thit nuong cha gio has decent size portions with a good ratio of meat, and the thit nuong has a nice marinade and char. Prices are fair to a bit high for the food and portions. The service is average, and the atmosphere is small and quiet. Overall, the food is good, and customers would come back.
