About Riva's

Riva's is a cozy and relaxing Italian restaurant known for its delectable casseroles and generous portions. The lasagna is particularly acclaimed, and the chicken penne pasta with Rosa cream sauce has also received praise for its huge portions. The staff is friendly and attentive, with many customers mentioning the helpful and welcoming service, especially from servers like Randy. The restaurant offers a great selection of strong drinks, including a memorable cosmopolitan, and provides complimentary soup and salad with meals, although some diners prefer to focus on the main dishes. Recently, the owner invited guests to return for brunch on Sundays, featuring a brunch menu and mimosas, which many are eager to try.

While the food quality may vary, the chicken piccata and baked dishes are consistently delicious. The crab cakes stand out as a unique offering with an interesting twist. Riva's has become a beloved Montrose institution, offering a vibrant atmosphere and a reliable dining experience. Customers appreciate the festive environment, especially during holiday seasons, making it a great spot for gatherings and celebrations. The restaurant has its own decent-sized parking lot, making visits convenient. Overall, Riva's continues to be a favorite for many who enjoy good food, friendly service, and a lively environment.

This place is very nice and free feeling atmosphere and I love it they have a fantastic bar with alcohol and non alcoholic choices too. The food is just amazing and I love ravioli, I got the beef ravioli with pesto and Alfredo sauce mix. Dinner was amazing with fried ravioli also, I’m glad I stopped here and got the best ravioli I’ve had in a long time. Olive Garden who? Rivas is a must try

All of the support staff (busser and food runner) were incredible and friendly in mending the uncomfortable confrontation from the server.

In conclusion, I didn’t have to come spend any money here tonight and I won’t ever again. I will also...read full review
