This place is a go to especially if you are already making a trip to 99... you must stop by and order the dumplings. This time I got 2 orders - Steamed Dumplings- chicken & cabbage and pork and chive and an order of 4 chive buns. My favs never disappoint... pork and chive are packed with flavor. The chicken and cabbage were also tasty. I also enjoyed the chive bun crispy outside and chivey inside... a must try. It's very convenient to have San Dong in the area and located inside 99 Ranch. I love to order to-go while I shop. They are quick with their service. Easy to order and their menu has a good variety.These are some of my favorite items. Hands down their pan fried dumplings are quite popular. What I love about this place is you get a good portion for a good price and the quality is always consistent. Whoa! It's been years since I've been to 99 Ranch, and was pleasantly surprised to see an outpost of San Dong here. San Dong in Chinatown has always been an oldie but goodie for me - still remember eating there back in the 90s! Even though the original owners have sold the business, the new owners have carried on their classic dishes, and have done good job of retaining what has made the original so popular.
