La Joya Salvadorena Found this gem up the road from the house. First time trying El Salvadoran food and it did not miss. This place was known for its Papusas - pork cheese and beans, even made it nice for upcoming Valentine's Day with a heart shape. This is a must try! Support local. First time here, I wouldn't of came across this place if my original taco truck wasn't there today. I do believe everything happens for a reason Bc I believe I found my new spot!!! I ordered the Asada burrito w/ cheese. They were not shy with the cheese! The meat was actually very flavorful & not tough. They give you complimentary chips & Guac! Delicious! Very friendly and amazing service.I ordered 3 elotes in a cup with everything, a chicken torta and two sodas. The torta was so delicious and it came with some really good salsa verde. It was spicy and delicious. My siblings really liked the corn too. I would add photos but we ate it all before I thought to snap a photo.Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.
