“Iwa Ya on Bellaire Blvd hit the spot for lunch today! The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was quick and friendly. We dove into their delicious spider roll, savoring the fresh ingredients and perfect texture. The katsudon was another winner, with its crispy pork cutlet and flavorful sauce. Even the miso and corn chowder soup impressed, offering a warm and comforting start to the meal. And to top it off, the prices were reasonable! Highly recommend Iwa Ya for a satisfying and enjoyable lunch experience.“

“Chef Koffi has talent! His take on hibachi was an unforgettable experience. I enjoyed the chicken and rice and I’m very eager to return for his other dishes. ?Vegetarian options: A good variety of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: The chef has your back covered and will ask you for allergy restrictions prior to cooking.Kid-friendliness: Your kids will enjoy!Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy for wheelchair users to get around.“
“Came here with my friends for a birthday dinner, and enjoyed every bit of our experience. The owner came to greet our table. Our cook was fun and friendly. The food came out phenomenal plus I had lots to take home. Thank you guys for such a great time.“
“This is my favorite place to eat lunch on this side of Chinatown.Get the sizzling plate with beef and rice. When the hot plate comes, smash the rice into the plate and let it cook. Make sure to mix your beef to cook as you line it. There are free sauces on the table. It's about $15pp.“
“Listen... everybody run here please! They need a storefront, more trucks, all of it! This is the best hibachi I've ever had. And I've tried SEVERAL all over the country. First off, the flavors are amazing without their sauces! But when I tell you the sauces are amazing and put it all over the top - you better listen and go get you some! Second, everything is made fresh and they make their own sauces - in so in love with this food! And there is no stinginess. I couldn't even finish my bro-ritto! Well worth the price, which was reasonable in my opinion for the quality you're getting and the amount! I will be returning for sure!“
“I love this place. They've been around long enough for the familiarity and nostalgia that comes with a deserved reputation but are still current and hold their own. I like the atmosphere. Something about it reminds me of the early 90s. Probably the fresh water fish tank and not so hidden ceramic buddha lounge kitty cat collector's cocktail cups. Happy hour sushi is a good deal. Anything with avocado and spicy salmon substituted for the fake crab is worth it. I won't lie. I'm a sucker for the shrimp tempura. The hibachi table can be a fun, family dinner.Vegetarian options: A huge pile of vegetables on the hibachi is hard to beat. They say seaweed salad is good for you. Lots of zinc or something.“
“Seriously great sushi. For lunch time, the buffet price is awesome! Even at dinner the crew makes your rolls in ~5min, maybe approaching 10min at the busiest times. The waiters we've had were all very nice too. They have quite a few hot/cold/cooked/raw sushi rolls. And if you're like me and have small wife/kids who can't appreciate a full "meal and a half" they're more than welcome to order their chicken tenders or single roll without dropping the full price of the buffet. Please all!“
