Soooo good
The chicken was actually great—very hot, crispy, and juicy. We ordered the half & half (Sweet & Spicy and Spicy Soy Garlic). Instead of $29.99, they charged us $15.99 + $15.99. When we pointed it out, they didn’t want to do a refund, so they gave us an order of fries to cover the difference. The food is solid, but definitely keep an eye on your receipt to make sure the pricing matches up

Additionally, the rice served is no longer the Asian Jasmine variety, but rather a more generic white rice. Despite these changes, the restaurant still offers several other flavors of fried chicken. Many customers appreciate that the chicken is nut allergy friendly and travels well, especially the Fried Crispy Chicken, which maintains a nice crispy crunch even after 15-25 minutes of travel. The Hot & Spicy Chicken, however, does not travel as well because the sauce affects its crispiness. The care taken with the packaging, including a steam vent flap in the box, helps to keep the chicken crispy longer. The ToreOre is conveniently located within an H-Mart, making it easy for customers to combine fried chicken cravings with grocery shopping.
