La Cocina de TJ is a cozy little spot in the Heights. The birria tacos are delicious with a good amount of meat and cheese. The Birria plate is phenomenal, and the quesabirria is amazing. A side of rice and beans includes some good creamy beans. The cantaloupe agua fresca and cucumber drink are delicious, and the Cafe de Olla with a concha is soooo good. Taco Tuesday offers all you can eat for under $20. The service is friendly, amazing, and always provides great service. There is an extra parking lot across the way for easy parking.
