“Sorry it's taken me a few days to get this review done. I'm just woken up from a tiramisu coma. I believe my wife who ordered it and Tiffany that made it are for some reason conspiring to murder me. It's been a few years since I have had the delight of eating the tiramisu from Baked and Sconed as they don't make it very often. For my birthday my wife says that she had a surprise for me and proceeds to hand me a turkey roasting pan covered in foil. It was so heavy I almost dropped it. I thought she was being cute and had packed the new wrench set that I was wanting in the pan based on the weight that can only be described as boat anchorish. As I peeled back the layer of foil, a golden glow hit me in the face. It was like the scene out of Pulp Fiction when Samuel Jackson opened the briefcase and showed Marcellus Wallace's soul. I immediately took this sacred package into the kitchen rummaged through the silverware drawer to find the biggest spoon that would fit into my mouth and began to hover over it growling and elbowing anyone that came close to me. My child wanted a bite, and I scared her off so bad that I haven't seen her in a couple days. The taste can only be described as what it must be like to have an angel take a dump directly on my tongue. It was glorious. Hats off to Tiffany for doing it right as always and for not charging extra for the forklift rental that it certainly must have taken to get it into the car.“

“I stopped in here because I just moved to Hutto and who doesn't love donuts and let me tell you I got two different style of donuts. I had a filled donut with barbarian cream that was delicious. Melt in your mouth good and I had a chocolate crawler that was to die for the gentleman that owns the place was very friendly and glad to see me and I highly recommend people stop in and get some Hutto donuts from him cuz he knows how to make a good donut let me tell you. “Big taste, bigger heart! In the days following the Central Texas floods, Lulu showed up to help with the flood cleanup, ready to get her hands dirty. She worked alongside people who had been displaced by the flood, and told me several times that any time any of the flood relief volunteers or survivors needed a warm cup of coffee, she would love for them to come by the shop and provide that at no charge. I thanked her for supporting our community, but never personally made it by there, although I did share that with others! Today I went in to drop off a barrel for food collections because of course she jumped at the opportunity to support those struggling in our community in another way. I told her how much I appreciated her, and how sad I was that I couldn’t eat any of the amazing goodies in her cute shop because I have Celiac disease. She showed me several treats that are gluten free and said she was very careful about cross contamination. She GAVE me a massive piece of her Basque Cheesecake, which I could not wait to get back to the car and try. Oh. My. Goodness. This stuff is actual heaven. It’s hands down the best cheesecake, gluten free or not, I have ever had. And I’m a foodie. I savored several bites (didn’t even wait to get home to a fork), and decided it was going to be my dinner. I also resolved to save some for breakfast. O have gotten back into the container FIVE times now as I continue delivering barrels and posters. I don’t think this little miracle of a treat is making it to breakfast 😂. If you want lovely treats in a cute store on the Most Beautiful Square in Texas served by an absolutely wonderful human, you have to go check out Lulu’s. And if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet Lulu herself.“

Had a slight problem with an order I had picked up the previous night and it was never the employees fault. Kat was understanding and open to compromise. “When you think of a donut it is hard to find shops that make them to order. The Texas size donut is about the size of a half sheet tray. I have a few favor donut places in Illinois and Indiana where I am from. But these donuts at Round Rock will give any donut place a run for their money. I'm giving them five stars because I came in, very last minute, to place a cupcake order for my two year olds party that was occurring the next day. Knowing I was asking them to endure an inconvenience, the lady that helped took my order with a smile. I asked for chocolate and confetti flavored cupcakes, with the color pink incorporated and sprinkles. I was trying not to be picky at all. When I picked up the cupcakes the next day, everyone was not only impressed with the presentation but the taste. The taste was decadent, rich, and buttery. I will definitely order from them again.“

“Grand Donuts is a grand time. Came here on a Wednesday morning, and they had a steady stream of customers getting their morning fix in.

I only ordered the double sausage/meat croissant (definitely recommend if you’re hungry) since I got coffee elsewhere. The croissant was definitely stuffed and worth the bang for your buck. It came out to about $5.50-ish after tax.

“Best donuts in town! That's why they've won awards for their donuts ! I specifically love the plain cake donuts. It's the perfect recipe and they fry it for the right amount of time. They also have cinnamon twists and glazed donuts I recommend. The staff is always friendly and warm. It's one of the few donuts shops in the Austin metro that are open 7 days a week. We ended up picking 2 flavors to serve at the wedding: vanilla cake with raspberry filling and rose frosting, and rosemary cake with strawberry filling and vanilla frosting. Rhonda was super communicative, answered all of my questions, and coordinated delivery to the venue. All of our guests loved the cake - it was beautiful and tasted so good!“
