“Coincidentally, I ran into someone wearing a Sinfull Bakery shirt. I asked about the vegan reference. I did not realize I was talking to THE Chef Dylan of the bakery. I decided to take a Saturday drive and check it out. Wonderful surprises were waiting for me! Had the Monkey Bread Muffin and purchased the cheesecake with apple topping for later. I will definitely return. Check it out.“

“I was at Emancipation park on Sunday. I told my son to go order some peach cobbler and a funnel cake. He came back with the peach cobbler on the funnel cake I was like it’s ok I’ll try it. BABBBBBYYYY me and the besties ate that so fast I didn’t even think to take a picture till it was in my throat. I am dying to drive from spring to this shop and see if I can get another one. DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL!!!!!“

“So beautiful and taste some how even better than it looks which seems almost impossible her work is amazing. Ordered a lemon cake with strawberry filling it was so fresh and moist. It tasted amazing. You can tell the cake was made with fresh ingredients. “Had a great experience at Kolache Factory in downtown tunnel today. The service was very friendly, and Jose in particular was welcoming and helpful. I also really appreciate the variety of vegetarian options they offer. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Definitely a great spot for a quick bite!“

“My mother's sewing themed cake not only looked beautiful but it was delicious as well. Erica was a joy to work with. She listened to my needs and delivered a cake that people are still talking about days after the party! The rice krispy treats were also delicious. “I traveled here from NC to get my kolache fix and the one s I wanted were not ready ,so I said I would wait til they came out of the oven and while I was waiting they gave me a sausage and cheese kolache and I thought that was so so nice. “Morning Kolaches has been a long time favorite of ours. We've been regulars of the Deer Park and Pasadena location since 1999. Our favorites are Sausage and Cheese, Jolly peeno Popper, Ham and Swiss, Cream Cheese and the Ranchero. They have always very friendly at both locations.“

I followed it and found myself in front of Michael’s Cookie Jar. I’m not even a big cookie person, but that aroma? It pulled me in like a warm hug.
Inside, I met two friendly women behind the counter, their names are Deja and Katherine baking and serving with smiles like they were handing out little pieces of joy. I decided to try a few—starting with the lemon cookie, and let me tell you, it might be the best lemon cookie I’ve ever had. Bright, soft, and just the right mix of tart and sweet. Their chocolate chip was classic and comforting, and the chocolate cookie? Rich, deep flavor—like a brownie’s cooler cousin. But the toffee pecan… that one stole the show. It was warm, nutty, sweet—like someone bottled up a cozy afternoon and baked it into a cookie.
They’ve got more than just cookies too—cookie cakes, milk, soft drinks, and even gluten-free options already wrapped and ready to go. They make dog treat cookies, and every month they come out with a new flavor, so there’s always something fresh to try.
Katherine and Deja told me that any cookies they don’t sell by the end of the day go into a container for the next day—and you can get those at half off. That’s the kind of deal that makes you feel like you’re in on a sweet little secret. And on Mondays, they do happy hour—two cookies for just $3. That’s hard to beat.
There’s even a cozy little seating area, so if you’ve got time, grab some milk and stay a while. Whether you’re a cookie lover or just need a break in your day, Michael’s is worth the stop. It’s one of those places that reminds you how something simple—like a really good cookie—can make your whole day better.

However the reviews that mention that they don’t warm up the kolaches, or even offer to warm them, are true. This has always been disappointing to me. They got my order wrong this morning, but normally they always get my order correct and have decent coffee. Have a good morning ☀️“

“I tried the cookie butter latte it was phenomenal with cold foam on top. It was perfectly sweet with cookie butter and cream. I also tried the Nutella latte with cold foam and it was not too sweet and well balanced. They have several pastries like kolaches, scones, bagel sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, little empanada looking tacos and other goodies! “Omg 😱 Over the weekend I attended my oldest friends’ birthday party and BABY LET ME TELL YOU 🙃 If I knew then what I know now 🥺 Let’s start at the beginning… When I walked in the set up was IMPECCABLE, IMMACULATE, LUSCIOUS, DELICIOUS 🤔 (Is that the right word? … YES! Because I’m describing how the sight of it made my taste buds feel 😆) Anywho… Even after all that deliciousness I just witnessed I got so caught up in painting and mimosas that I didn’t actually eat any of the table setting desserts (HUGE REGRET). After the party was over the the owner (I WANT YOU TO REPLACE MY BESTIE OR AT LEAST COME COOK AT MY HOUSE 😉) urged everyone to take a to-go box (They were so cute y’all) I modestly took one 🙄 Even after I heard them (The Heavenly Handed Owner and daughter combo) say, “Don’t leave any, make sure they’re all gone.” (😔 I didn’t) When I got home it was quickly disassembled and issued out (husband and kids 😠) All I was left with was THE BROWNIE 🙃 I put it up and went on about my night. Monday I was at school and on my lunch break (only time I eat alone) and that’s what I wanted and BABY 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 I looked around like I was sneaking my momma food while she was sleep. I FORCED myself to break it in half (which was hard 😒 that pretzel part supposed to be eaten all at once). I saved the rest til right before I wrote this (24 hours 😞) so I could right this review from my heart 😌 I’ve never had a better brownie in my life and I need a standing delivery like Hello Fresh, BUT for brownies 🥰 Now that I think of it I don’t know the name of the brownie so from now on it’s THE BROWNIE for me 😉“

“Well their bread is fresh but they run out was there about 9:00 am and they did have much plus they need more cashiers one is not enough, I did try their Tamales and they were good, I also try thier menudo and it was that good it had to much red pepper and all it did give me heartburn they need to improve it .that's one menudo I won't buy again.“
