I tried the Trinidad James since I love black sesame despite not normally being someone who can stand Angostura Bitters but it was beautifully balanced and I'd order it again in a heartbeat. This bar is definitely now on my shortlist for when I'm downtown.“

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 55th birthday there, and Kimmy facilitated my event flawlessly from beginning to end—not one complaint or concern the entire night. That level of professionalism and attention to detail meant everything and allowed me to fully enjoy my celebration.

The venue is beautiful, and I received countless compliments from my guests on both the atmosphere and the service. Kecia, the bartender, was an absolute gem—attentive, kind, and a true professional throughout the evening. James was also very hands-on, making sure everything ran smoothly, which did not go unnoticed.

And the balloon décor? Simply stunning—easily one of the best-dressed elements of the night and the perfect finishing touch!

“It was quiet when we visited but Brandon was a great Guy, we sat outside in a small seating area and he brought a Bluetooth speaker so we were able to listen to music called in for one and ended up staying for a few, would highly recommended bar is as described no frills great service and cold beers“

“I have been coming here for afterwork happy hours for years now. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed with live music on occasion. The bar staff is top notch and really take care of you - shout out to Adan and Jose for holding it down! Can honestly say I've never had bad service here. Highly recommend Whitehall for a weekend stay if you're passing through or a stop at part & parcel if you find yourself killing time downtown.“

“This place is an absolute vibe. We went tonight to celebrate out 6-year wedding anniversary. We had never been before, but our waitress Cam was so great. She made great suggestions for drinks, and had really good insight on the meals. Everything was AMAZING! The music was great - a good mixture of old and new school R&B. They have pretty cool themed days/events. We're definitely going back.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the bathrooms. They weren't disgusting, but a couple of the stalls were dirty. There was literally no soap in any of the three dispensers - luckily we carry sanitizer with us everywhere. Also, the music volume could come down just a little, we could barely hear our waitress.

Overall though, we really enjoyed ourselves and we will definitely return. Looking forward to attending one of their open mic nights and brunch.“

“It is certainly not a large posh place but somewhere you may feel comfortable however you dress and whether or not you know anyone. The owner and bar keeper are like family and served bbq shrimp on the counter for customers. I attended a memorial for an actor and it was just right. If it bothers you that the ceiling was leaking into a bucket this may not be your place but, for me and the others, no body seemed to notice.“
