“I went for the pies at Thanksgiving & Christmas. Their chocolate cream pie was top notch. This is my fave pie to get anywhere I go and most places have a soggy crust. But not here - the crust was light and flaky with every bite! Absolutely delish!Fast forward to last Friday and I did their Friday night special - 2 meals, 4 sides, and a dessert for $40. I got the ribeye steak tips w/shrimp and hubs got the chicken fried steak. My expectations were not very high on the steak tips and, to be honest, when I got home and opened the container, they looked like they might have been overcooked. However, one bite and my eyes rolled back in my head! They had grilled onions and the flavor was spot on! Very tender and very delicious! The place doesn’t disappoint! It’s a bit of a drive being in Jarrell, but oh so worth it!!!“

“Stacy was great. Real early, she was alone and running the whole place exceptionally well. Very kind with kids, greeting regulars and making new friends. More of an old diner experience than a Denny’s. Food was fresh and fast. Great place for a pitstop when in the area.“

“Found this place by accident when I took a side by accident. Wife and tried the blackened tilapia and grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. Both were very good and the waitress was very friendly. Definitely will go again when passing through Salado.“

Upgrading to sweet potato fries unfortunately wasn't worth the extra 3.50. They were chewy and room temp. Since that was half of my food, it really lowered my food score.“

“I stopped by to grab lunch to go. I ordered a chicken fried steak & onion rings, which came with a little side salad & crackers. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a little country hole in the wall. I love these little places. The staff was friendly and hard working. About the food, I wasn't thrilled with my order, but it wasn't bad either. It was just ok. I think if I would've eaten there, it would have been better. Some foods just don't travel well. I plan on going back, and next time, I'll take the time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.“

She was abrupt with us and curt.I believe she was annoyed with our group because we asked for separate checks. That seemed to set her off. She NEVER smiled even once. Food was okay but not what will entice us to drive 45 mins. again. I had several people who asked me to let them know what the restaurant was like. This is what I will tell them. “We have loved the food and romantic atmosphere every time we go to Farmers Commons. Yeterdays meal of filet, wood fired broccoli and the Jardiniere salad was exceptional. Inaya was amazing.
