“Without a doubt, the place to go for your BBQ needs! The ribs (which is what we got both times) were moist, nice and smokey and so tender! Delicious!! We stopped by while camping at Caddo Lake State Park and are so glad we did! If we lived closer (Colorado Springs is a bit far...lol) This would be our go to place all the time!. Will and Lucy are very nice and the prices are great. Definitely recommend!”

“We just moved to east Texas from Arkansas, decided to ride to the lake, we came across this little cafe & I must say the food was amazing. We got lunch & took to the lake for a picnic. I give it a 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The brisket was tender and juicy, hand made sausage was mouthwatering, swamp fries were top notch. Eaten here multiple times, plus catered a few events and everything I've had is fabulous. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is a pretty standard bbq joint. Let's face it, you don't go to a bbq joint for the ambiance, you go for the food and the food is amazing.”

“I will not spend another cent at this place. The last 2 times I have ordered pizza including today, I have asked for extra sauce and extra cheese because the pizza is always so dry. Both times, I have gotten pizzas with next to no sauce and very little cheese. I'm basically getting bread with whatever topping I ask for.”

“Mom and I just had dinner here tonight, and it was AMAZING!! Yummy beans at the bean bar, what was hands-down one of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve had in years slathered in a delicious cream gravy, top tier sweet tea and a takeaway piece of Brown Cow cake that I’m sloooowly working on even now. Food was 10/10, staff and service were 10/10. We will DEFINITELY be back!”

“I found this local spot and decided to take my wife for a nice breakfast/coffee surprise. It was such a great decision! The Hive is the cutest and coziest coffee/brunch shop! The people there are so very helpful and lovely to speak with! It’s one of those places where you can forget about your worries for a bit and just slow down and relax. Btw, the place was so good I had to run by again before my wife and I left town. You MUST check it out!”

“William knows his stuff! His coffees beans create the best tasting coffees I have ever found, and I have tried MANY! Whether hot or cold, the smooth taste stays the same, never acidic or bitter. I usually buy the Annie Get Your Gun Espresso and the Steamboat Dark, but will eventually get around to trying more. I prefer dark roast and these do not disappoint. They sell online which is convenient, but the store is a must-see and experience if you are ever in Jefferson.”

“The ice cream is sweetened with local honey and is delicious! I had their turtle ice cream. My husband had the All-American cinnamon roll. I couldn't get a good picture of his treat because he was devouring it! We ate upstairs. The A/C was a nice relief from the heat. The bus is clean and nicely decorated. The music was fun and upbeat. The next time I visit, I will try one of the cupcake sundaes.”

“young male server would not wait on me. Took my order and never brought me coffee or water had to get it myself. When I did he said I could get it all myself and tried to provoke me to argue with him. Had to tell him to back off several times. I left won't come back. Eaten their several times never a problem before.”
