“This place is cute and cozy, has an arcade in the corner of the entrance. Pay at front to order your food, and get your own silverware and drink. The only small thing I did not like was the forks has some food stains on them, so you gotta find a decent looking clean one to use. It might not been the dishwasher person fault, but whoever was grabbing them made it messy. There should be another way to grab them forks though. Overall I do like the location. I thought the food portion was perfect and wished they opened at a longer time. Probably one of the cutest restaurant in the JV area. I also loved their brussel sprouts, the biggest I ever seen!

“A quest for best smash burgers in the Houston area brought us to Hotline. We were not disappointed. Perfectly laced thin smash burger patties on a soft fresh potato bun was just what we needed on this cold Jan afternoon. And the hot crispy fries were just the icing on the cake. Perfection. Not sure if it was the owner or an employee but he was very friendly, quick service and made great suggestions. Must also mention, we took a peek inside as we’re leaving and the restaurant was very clean. Got my vote! 🗳️“

“Been here about 20 times. This place is one of those iconic gems in Houston.

I'm in love with their bun. It's freshly baked in-store, slightly toasted with butter on the outside giving it an ever-so slight crunch while maintaining it soft and cloudy on the inside. I'd go as far as to say that they have the best hamburger bun I've tried in all of Houston.
The beef burgers are excellent, Bulgogi burger is fantastic, and I love the chicken sandwiches as well. The condiment bar is always clean and I appreciate the sauce options. The runny cheese for the fries is a fantastic addition too.

AND don't forget to try their fried onion rings. The batter is made in-house and coated every morning.

We shared an order of onion rings, which were the best I’ve had since moving to Cypress. Great tasting ranch to dip them in as well. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. I would advise however to be double sure to lock your vehicle doors since I often saw lots of different questionable folks walking back & fourth on the side of the main 7 lane highway as I sat down eating... although i did also see a nicely dressed family of 4 with 2 children walking on the busy sidewalk to the taqueria next door. The restroom was nice & clean & I will return again.“
