“We did a spur of the moment Valentines Day breakfast and tried this place to change things up. It was SO worth it. Chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns, biscuit and gravy, egg and sausage croissant sandwich with hash browns. The food was excellent home cooking; it was our server’s birthday and she was very sweet and attentive. We will definitely be coming back.”

“I’ve been a customer for many years and have had the privilege of getting to know the staff. By far, my favorite waitress is Cheryl. Her bubbly attitude and attention to detail make every experience a great one. Ask for her the next time you stop by, you’ll be glad you did. Respectfully, Dallas”

“Santos and the crew were amazing!!! Super attentive and fast! The food was phenomenal, everything came out great and fast! Pozole is the go to! My parents got the menudo and were very pleased! We will be back again as we will be passing through next month!”

But mind your manners or you will notice a swift change in attitude from the staff and customers. Great place for that after work beverage to unwind. “We were looking to try something new. La Mesa was pretty good. Lindsey is a great waitress and offered great recommendations. The food style reminded me a lot of Frijoles, but that's fine. The menu was smaller, but they offered all the staples. We split the enchilada trio with borracho beans. The beef enchilada in green sauce was our favorite. The atmosphere/dining experience was great. Love how spacious and comfortable everything is. 8 out of 10 Definitely will consider coming out here again next time we are in Joshua.”

It has been in Joshua as long as I can remember and seems to be a popular gathering place. The food is always good. The service is always friendly and speedy. Definitely a must stop in place if you’re hungry and in Joshua.”
