“Stopped in for lunch and they didn't disappoint!! The food was delicious. Trinity was our dining experience host. She was very attentive, answered all our questions, and was sure to deliver our food hot. The manager Paul stopped by to welcome us as first time guest. I had the Catfish Sandwich with Garlic Fries and my bonus sister had the Chicken and Waffles. We also had the Fried Green Tomatos but devoured those before a pic was taken, lol. I will definitely visit again. Amazingly great service and food!!“

“Reaper flavor has been hyped as being insanely hot - it lives up to the legend! Nice Cajun flavor to complement the heat. I chose the slider option - all of the components came together pretty well. Potato bun is a solid choice. House sauce has a nice zing to it but not my favorite with the other flavors in the slider (personal opinion.) I also tried a medium slider that didn’t burn my face off - very good flavor with medium, even heat. Enjoyed the seasoning on the house fries as well.

“Today I finally tried Layne’s, it was wonderful. The chicken is so much better than Canes or Slim Chickens. This is the best chicken I’ve had besides making homemade tenders, which is exactly what it reminded me of. The chicken was tender and the crust/batter is crispy. Hard to find a place you can eat for $10 and feel satisfied, but this is the place to do it! Chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavor of their sauces… delicious! I went with the salad and the habanero sauce and my dad chose the mild sauce on his chicken sandwich. The fries are seasoned and cooked to perfection, if you haven’t been here you need to give it a try! Hard to find good hot chicken places in Fort Worth.“

“Ii never liked chicken salad until I ate here. I always go through the drive-thru, and the service is great. The food is superb, and fresh. The best chicken salad, and the best choice for different recipes of chicken salad.
I also love their pickles. This is high quality food at a reasonable price. Delicious!“

“I am officially in love with this place. This was my first time stopping in and right away the manager Michael welcomed me in and offered assistance as I was looking at the menu. I had seen others comment about the poblano soup and I luckily stopped in on a Thursday when it was one of the daily soup specials. I got my order of the soup and spicy pimento cheese very quickly after ordering and both were to die for! Highly recommend for a quick light lunch with great food and service.“

“My family has eaten at this establishment for years now. We do not eat there frequently since we live about 30-40 minutes away but it's my son's favorite chicken place so we go as often as we can. The food is always great, I cannot think of a single time we've ever had an issue. The staff has always been kind and attentive. However, today was a unique day. My son asked to eat there for his 6th birthday. Some hours have passed so I hope I am not misremembering the name but Caleb greeted us at the door and provided the best service I've ever had at a fast food establishment from beginning to end. As someone who has worked in the food industry and knows the workers typically do not get the recognition they deserve, I felt it was important to notify his manager and write this review. We are very grateful to Caleb and to Slims for a wonderful experience and my son especially enjoyed his birthday brownie!“

“Came in for date night with my husband and we were jivin’ for a good burger and cold beer. This place hit both cravings out of the park! Heather was our waitress, who was attentive but not helicopter-esque, and an absolute joy. Our burgers were cooked to a perfect medium, the veggies were fresh, and the sidewinders and potato wedges were plentiful. Be sure to come hungry - you definitely won’t leave that way! Cannot wait to come back here as it’s just down the road from the house!“

Ive never had cfa ever so i asked my cashier what did she recommend so after i order and all she told me not to worry about it that my meal was on her. “Eat at this location nearly every other Friday, and it’s usually very fast, friendly and accurate. However, Friday the 10th, this was not the case. As I didn’t recognize more than two folks, I figure there are a bunch of new hires. Large fries were less than half-full, 5-count nuggets had two that were simply bread & didn’t get the requested sauces. Since we were a dine-in customer, the issues were resolved quickly and efficiently… but had I been a drive-thru order, I might not return.
