We ordered drinks and at bar and then got a table outside to order food, and the waitress refused to serve us, stating TABC rules, but we weren’t ordering drinks from her, we are really good customers and tip really well. I’ve never had that happen and have always had good service there. Maybe a new inexperienced waitress, worried we weren’t going to tip her? Or maybe I didn’t know you couldn’t a have drink tab at the bar and order food at a table separately? I’ve worked, waitressed , in the food industry so this was new to me.“

“We live in Austin, but every time we visit Bacliff we go to Noah's ark even 3 times a day during our weekend, their breakfast is very good, but what I love the most is their seafood menu. The grill oysters are amazing, the tuna tostada, and fish plates are our favorites. Second floor I believe is the smokers area, so we always eat in the first floor, or outside it's awesome as well. The workers are very nice as well.“

As Lago Mar residents and frequent guests of Blue Lagoon, we were confident the event would be wonderful—and it truly was. From booking through the conclusion of the evening, everything was seamless. Hayden, the manager, was exceptional in communicating every detail and ensuring the planning process was smooth. The menu was flexible, accommodating, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious when served. Karen, the coordinator, was nothing short of outstanding. She was readily available, attentive to every detail, and went above and beyond to make the event truly special. We were also incredibly impressed with the staff—Noah, Molly, and manager Tristan—who were professional, attentive, and took excellent care of our entire party. The venue was very flexible in working with our decorator, which made the day run effortlessly. From start to finish, we experienced top-notch customer service and outstanding food. We couldn’t have asked for a better reception experience.“

You can truly tell the chef knows exactly what they’re doing. On top of that, the chef’s attitude made the whole experience even better so welcoming, positive, and passionate about the food. “I used to work close to this place so I stopped in for lunch one day. Now I go every chance I get! You just can’t beat the prices and the amazing food. Their crawfish and snow crab is just unbeatable. So dang good! I live close to Galveston and will happily make the drive just for the food. Also, Sezen is a fantastic bartender and will make sure you are taken care of! 10/10 recommend for service and food.“
