“I will say that the staff has improved greatly, especially the daytime staff. That is why I am giving them 4 stars. I still won't go there at night, because of the drugs being smoked out the back door by the drive thru and you never knew if you were going to be ok eating the food from the night staff. They used to make food that was not only the right temp, but is outright non-existent. We've had issues in the past where they outright left 2 out of 3 items out of the $5 box and accused us of lying. Never gave us the items or reimbursed us. This happened a total of 4 times with different family members at different times. We stopped going there for almost a year. I have 11 children, so you can imagine what kind of sales they missed out on from us. Big mistake, huge mistake...?‍♀️“

“I had a wonderful experience at Mexican Mom's kitchen. The service and food are notch. The menu has a section that changes weekly with new items and a regular menu that never changes, so you visit every week and try something new every time. The appetizer was wonderful, and I wish I had remembered the name of it, but the next time I visit, I will remember to check. The beef Empanadas and my chocolate tres Leche were the best I have had in a long time. ? “I am from out of town and was looking for a place to grab a quick bite and this place was SO AMAZING. The food was to die for the house margarita, perfection, the service, impeccable. We were served by Maria and she was attentive, helpful, and overall so sweet! This was a 10/10 experience I am going to come back just for the fajitas!“

“One of the best mexican hole in the walls ive been in since arriving in Houston. Have tried many places but none compare to this place. Great warm service and great food to accompany it. “Brunch here on Easter Sunday was delicious! A refreshing change from typical TexMex, with bright, fresh flavors. We split the Huevos Motulenos and an order of guacamole. “This is one option in a food truck park with 5-6 other food trucks. El Mictlan was our choice for vegan/vegetarian. I had the Chilaquiles and my friend had the Tacos Dorados. Both were spicy, but not overwhelming and had good flavor. The server took our orders and made recommendations. He was polite and brought the food to the table quickly. Seating is outdoors on picnic tables, but they have turf in the eating area so it's not muddy. Tables also have umbrellas to provide shade from the sun. Enjoyable experience. Will try them again when I'm in the area.“

“Trying another local joint. This little hole in the wall is definitely closer to back home(956 RGV/MX border). It has a small menu and a handful of tables to sit at but totally worth it. The flavor on their meat is top notch and the street tacos are filled to the brim. We ate, sang along to the tejano music, drank Mexican Cokes and watched the older lady behind the counter make tortillas from scratch. Very friendly staff, clean, and the salsa is actually spicy(that's a first so far up here). We will definitely be back.“

“I really enjoyed my first time experience at Mario's. The owner of Best Vacuums and Jake at Discount Tires recommended Mario's to me last week. They spoke very highly of Mario's and said food was great and prices reasonable. My husband and I went there Saturday and found they were right on both scores. Staff were friendly too. “If your expecting TexMex, don't go, if you like authentic Mexican Food, don't miss it. I had the slow braised lamb shank, fall of the bone cut it with a fork. The shrimp tequila shrimp's were mushy and taken off the bill. Otherwise the food was excellent. Service was impeccable.“

“I don't remember the last time I had a meal where I said wow, like 40+ times. The Carnitas were amazing, best I've ever had. This is the place you take out of town guests, when you want to feel proud that you're a Texan. Represents Tex Mex food at its best. Honesty, I didn't know Tex Mex could be this good. “This place really need sto up their social media game and let ppl know they are there. I had the beef fajitas and they were absolutely great!! The grilled onions couldn't have been any better either. Beef was full of flavor and a nice grilled taste to them. The charro beans are awesome. The cheese enchilada is a good ol, old fashioned enchilada. Gravy to cheese to tortilla ratio is awesome. The queso blanco is amazing. “Well the food was good but not great. The service was good but not great. The music was from the 70s. If you are a Mexican restaurant, you should be playing Spanish music, not music from the '70s. All in all I gave it a four star. I will have to think about coming here again. Not sure if I will. Not sure if I won't. Met the owner. He was very nice. But it was the music that really turned me off to the place. If you would like to visit this place I suggest you should only because the food was good. The atmosphere is nice and the decor is really in good taste.“

“Great people and great tacos. I usually order multiple times a week and it’s typically last minute pretty large orders that I always need to pick up first thing in the morning. My food is always hot, labeled, with the fixins ready to go. I break bread with people all over Houston and Conroe with these tacos and they are always a hit. I’m constantly met with a smile and appreciation for my orders. I’ve also bought marinated steak for tacos and cooked at home, turned out great as well.“

I will have to go back to try others tacos and the burrito. Great place to eat tacos. Be aware they closed at 2pm everything day and I am not sure if on Sundays they open. I went during the week.
