“I've been eating food from this Sonic location between 2-4 times a month for more than 5 years now, and it really is the best Sonic in the country. I have absolutely no idea what the criteria for the actual competition is or how it's judged, but for anyone who's curious about what that looks like from the standpoint of a regular customer: The staff is always friendly and helpful, the facilities are well-maintained and clean, and when you combine those things with the way they've been actively in the local community, you get a very nice and authentic small town, drive-in vibe. The ingredients are always fresh, and I've never gotten even the slightest stomach ache from anything I've ever eaten from this Sonic. Whether it's the same cheeseburger I've ordered 100 times or a brand new special of some kind, most of the time that item will look like it's been dressed for a commercial. And as cool as it is for the food to *look* nice, this also means that you don't have to worry about stuff like getting a burger with mushy ingredients just plopped haphazardly between two buns. It's probably not a big deal to a lot of people and maybe it's something that other people who have worked in food service would notice, but yall - I can count on ONE hand the number of times I've gotten a cheeseburger that didn't have the cheese placed *perfectly*, in such a way that each of the 4 corners stuck out evenly from the buns and the patty. And thanks to the variety of specials that they almost always have running, usually you can get a good meal for a good price. Two very rare qualities in restaurants today, much less fast food places. And did I mention that the staff is friendly and helpful, too? Definitely worth a visit!“

“Came to celebrate my sister in law and brother in law’s birthdays, so we had 11 people total. Arrived by noon and they were able to get us all seated pretty quickly! I didn’t hear any complaints about food, but I will say The Sundance Kid burger I had was DELICIOUS! If you can’t decide what side to get between fries, chips, or onion rings… skip the fries! The chips were pure deliciousness in my mouth and my husband and daughter swore up and down the onion rings were the best they ever had. Sophie was very attentive and personable and didn’t mind my 6yo talking too much, which is always a plus when people have patience for the youngest of the younger crowd! Between the atmosphere (even the bathrooms smelled nice and were super clean!), the wonderful staff, and the delicious burgers, we would love to come back! As my youngest said: “I give this place a ten out of ten stars!”“

I went in today and was giving the restaurant another try. And I bit into my chicken patty for my sandwich and it was still frozen inside and asked to have it remade or refunded and the register lady refused. (I swear they probably giving nearby school food poisoning from what my local friends tell me for their kids.) No manager or anyone came to speak with me, so I left.

“Food is what you'd expect from a Portillo's, if you've been to a Portillo's before you'll not be disappointed, if you haven't been to one before, you should be happy unless your a vegetarian. The Italian beef and hotdogs were good as expected, the fries were good, not over salted. Surprise at how much I like the hamburger double bacon with cheese. “The vibe of this place smacked me in the face when I walked through the door. Ramiro was the best bartender. I was so lucky to get served by him again coincidentally I got to see him last year on my birthday!! He has always guided me in the right direction learning all the yummy shots. The other day my car battery died when I was trying to get home from class and he helped jump it. Thank you Ramiro and Cecily. I cannot express my thanks enough to every person that works here. I had to download the app because the TV ad I saw for the discount of half price shake when you buy one was not available unless you ordered it through the app. The girl came out, overcame the obstacles And jumped through the electronic hoops that would take me way too long and make me lose my patience.

Parking: I'm laughin' a li'l bit because while it's free parking, it's not free parking, bcoz if you're parking in a space, they do expect you to buy some food because it's a drive-restaurant , with individual menu boards and speakers per parking space, so you kinda hafta....

Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of handicap spots, a couple of ramps to get up on the sidewalk to go enjoy the small shaded patio dining area“
