“Today the Machacado with egg, al a Mexicana was the best one I've ever had. It was very delicious in every way and filling. Thank you Owner Rebecca and employee Maythe for being so friendly and always professional. Everyone else is so nice too, the food and prices are all very good. The other Blanquitas are great too. “I had been craving chicken fried steak and was not interested in going to Luby's for a chicken fried steak full of nerves, so I went to Longhorn Steakhouse for the Nolan Ryan chicken fried steak. First, they no longer call it that on the menu, but I still ordered it. As soon as I sat down, the waiter took my drink order. He came back with the bread and my sweet tea, took my order, and left. I looked for my silverware and realized he never gave me my utensils, so i used my hands to pull the bread apart, no biggie. He came back with my appetizer and left, and still no utensils, so I'm picking the shrimp with my fingers. My main course came out, and the server asked if i needed anything else, and I responded, "My silverware, please." I finished my chicken fried steak, which was decent but won't order anymore. I'll stick with a ribeye and remember to order TWO drinks, being that they forget about you after you get your meal and trying not to choke on your food.“

“It would have been easy to drive right past this restaurant but because I checked google maps I saw it had high reviews and decided to check it out. I couldn’t be happier that I did. Very cool place, easy to order and incredible food. Being from Kansas City I have high expectations for BBQ. This was the best brisket I have ever had. Must go place.“

“Excluding being a little confused by the "drive through" signage for a non-existent feature, I would give it an almost perfect score. Food was hot and delicious! Service was excellent. Took off a point for the atmosphere because of the noise. While it was clean and the decor was right on, the concrete floor, glass and tin walls, etc. provided no noise dampening, so as it got busy the noise level increased exponentially. Still worth it. Best BBQ I've had in the RGV.“

“I have loved the Chicken Potpie since coming to Cheddars to eat. I've had at least 6 of them and then the one I had last summer had no chicken in it. I said nothing to anyone, just deciding to not come back for a while. We stopped there with two other couples today and I thought...try it again. Before they used to have lots of white chicken chunks, this one today had very few pieces of chicken. What has happened to it?“

“Today was my first visit to this charming gem in Harlingen, and it certainly won’t be my last. Tucked inside a quaint and welcoming little house, stepping through the door felt like walking into a warm and cozy home, with the hostess greeting us warmly. We sat in one of the back rooms, and the ambiance transported us straight into a romantic tea party, surrounded by vintage decor that perfectly suits the place’s name. The service was attentive and prompt, and the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I had their famous chicken salad sandwich, paired with a nutty salad—both comforting and delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was like a warm hug for the taste buds, hearty and full of flavor. What made the experience even more special was the owner personally greeting us, making us feel truly welcome, and tempting us with the dessert menu—a weakness of mine! I couldn’t resist the lemon lush: fresh, citrusy, and heavenly fluffy. Every detail of today’s visit was perfect!“

“The nice open seating is great if you don’t mind the occasional traffic. The food was good but expensive. We paid $51 for two orders of 6 tacos, two baked potatoes and two sodas. The food was fresh and warm. Overall a great meal.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheel chair ramp to the main concrete pad where the tables are at.“

“I visited this location today for a business lunch and the food was outstanding. I had the California Roll and the Volcano Roll, both made with incredibly fresh ingredients. The Volcano Roll had a wonderfully crispy, deep-fried texture that was delicious!
Our waiter was attentive to our work lunch needs, and the service was prompt. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delicious and high quality sushi experience.“

“The food was great. The bistec ranchero was soft and not overly spicy. They only reason I give service 4 stars is because they only had one server for the whole place. Yes, it's quite small, but still. Despite this fact, our waitress was great, so the review doesn't reflect on her service.“

“Amazing food, honestly. I was kinda surprised that only one other couple came into the restaurant while we were eating. Even the chef came out to make sure everything was good - it was! The waitress was really friendly, and knew every answer to our food questions. 9/10“
