“In my personal experience, it has been quite some time since I have indulged in a Greek gyro. Today, I made the decision to visit Gyro Guys in La Porte. To succinctly summarize my experience, I would use the term "exceptional." I had been eagerly anticipating a gyro and am pleased to report that this was an unexpected delight. The superior quality, texture, and distinctive flavor of the succulent lamb/chicken platter, complemented by tzatziki sauce, vegetables, and a side of pita bread, were truly remarkable.I would like to express my gratitude to Carliee (with two "E's") for her recommendation of the medium platter, which proved to be the optimal choice. The gyro cheese fries were delightfully crispy and delicious. While the restaurant was clean, the ambiance appeared somewhat outdated. A renovation of the interior and some minor aesthetic adjustments to the decor would be beneficial.In conclusion, I strongly recommend Gyro Guys in La Porte to anyone seeking a novel culinary experience. “Excellent experience! Service was stellar our server was friendly and sparked great conversation. The food was very flavorful and clearly made with high quality ingredients. Their menu was diverse and had new dishes that I’d never seen before. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. The mint lemonade smoothie is a must!! They had vegan kibbeh and vegan baklava that was delicious! I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Sawa.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan options! “Best gyro I have had in the US. Thick meat right off grill. Wife said baba was best she has ever had. Falafel was great, Greek salad was surprisingly excellent. Spinach pie, pita, grape leaves, and fries were all very good. Highly recommend.“

“I love this place! A buffet with a ton of vegetarian options?!?! Count me in! The garlic sauce here is some of the best I’ve ever had honestly. Serviceable falafel, great chili sauce, great lentil soup, amazing humus, great selection overall. Drinks go hard too! The tamarind and the lemonade were crazy good. Although the food may take a while to be served, the customer service here is decent, and the workers make sure to always be in touch and ask questions in case you need something. “I accidentally ordered online (check #22 for the gyro plate, feta gyro salad, and lamb shank) at the wrong location on Thursday 03/28 at the League city location instead of the Katy location.So I called in to request the order be canceled. The hostess or restaurant manager said she canceled it but I still got charged. I never received an email or text message from Toast confirming the cancelation, and my credit card still got charged.UPDATE:I called in again and the manager took care of the refund. We enjoyed the food and customer service always tries to make things right!“

“Parking: A lot depends on time when goi g to Bbi's. I have been there at 11 and. O problem, been there at 530 and no problem. But go at noon and I have seen no spots open. “I have really enjoyed the food, whether eating at the establishment or taking the food to go. The owner is very personable and cares about her establishment and employees, and it shows in the food and service. As mentioned in other reviews, one or two of the employees may look like they could be mean. However, I can not stress this enough that they are not mean. In fact, they are very nice and caring and will take care of you very well. I recommend eating here at least once and letting the food do the rest of the persuading.“

“Good service and very quiet and empty when I take an order for carry out, I'm a fan of their Gryo sandwhiches and the hummus is on point. I guess it's just quiet cause no one really knows it's there but if they only knew how good the food is then it wouldn't be my favorite secret shawarma place in Baytown.“
