“My wife and I have been to Tias Taco hut before over on Babcock had great service. Today we tried Tias on Blanco by Churchchill High School on Blanco, I had order beef enchiladas the waitress brought me cheese enchiladas she even said who ordered the beef beef enchiladas, as I cutted into the enchiladas it was cheese , I had told the lady I order beef she no you order the cheese , the showed me the ticket what she wrote down , but I didn't want cause a seen but I told I said beef and my wife know I said beef. but the lady didn't offered to fix so I ate it anyways because the food is good, so I'll give a rating to this location a 7 for now.“

“I used to deliver here over 30 years ago when i worked for Braun beef. Always wanted to eat her because everybody was always positive and the restaurant always smelled great. I had seen the reviews on tiktok and reminded me about this place. Holy hell! The chilaquiles plate was one of the best I've had! The refried beans are really tasty! Papas rancheras were great, and the barbacoa was perfect! 10/10 i will be back!“

“There was a long gap about 15 years since I had eaten at Pete’s Tako House. My Grandmother loved going there. This was my first visit to the downtown location. I was happy the food was still delicious. Generous portions and the tortillas are so good. I don’t normally dine out for Mexican food because I can cook it at home. San Antonio is my exception to dine out when I visit they have excellent restaurants and Pete’s is one of them. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming. The staff is friendly and quick to help with anything you need. The prices are reasonable for dining in downtown San Antonio. Parking is limited for handicap. The outdoor seating is a nice cozy area. Plenty of seating inside and a bar provides a few extra seats. We enjoyed our lunch. I loved looking at all the decor and remembering previous visits with my Grandmother. New memories with my Mom.“

“My grandparents owned several businesses in the area and as a child we would go there for lunch. I visited the restaurant last Wednesday for the first time in over 60 years. The food and service were excellent and authentic. I visited with several staff members to share my story and found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visitors to San Antonio to eat at the Blue Moon.“

“This place has gotten so much better than the last time I was here, maybe a year ago. Much cleaner, less cluttered, easier to read menus, and better tasting food. Last time I got ribs from here they were mostly fat and little meat. This time, a lot more meat, and less fat. The server noticed that our chips were mostly large crumbs (like we had gotten the last scoop from the bottom of the batch and it was someone else from the kitchen that brought them out, not our server) and offered us a fresh bag to take home with us. (Thank you Jonathan! :) The molten lava cake was spot on this time for presentation and flavor. The manager was actively involved in checking on customers and assisting staff. The ribs were especially good and filling. We had enough to take home and split for lunch tomorrow. Prices everywhere have gotten expensive, but at least now at Chili's I feel like I'm getting value for my money (whereas before I felt I was paying a lot for mediocre food.)“

Next visit... had the same but regular seasoned beef - still absolutely fabulous!!! Asst manager stopped to say hello, and, the manager stopped by as well to check on things - very professional staff all around.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!! Beautiful young family with 4 children (infant to 6yrs). Super nice to see families enjoy this wonderful restaurant.“

“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.“

“I just ate there today I had the asada plate & my mom got the cheeseburger w/fries & my husband had the Nicks tacos & we all 100% recommend this place to eat. Also was a very clean restaurant & friendly/nice waitress she did check up on us multiple times. All around great food & great service. we will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. 👍“

“High end Mexican food with their own take on classic dishes. The food itself is high quality ingredients such as the wagyu fajitas (pictured) with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. We also had the fried fish tacos which were delicious. One nice surprise was the corn cakes. It was similar to a very moist cornbread cupcake with herb butter. Already looking forward to having these again. We were seating in the second building which is decorated very nice, but as it filled up it has terrible acoustics, so you have to shout at each other to speak. There is also a nice patio and bar outside that wasn’t being used during our weekday lunch visit. The staff was professional and attentive and made a positive experience. Highly recommend and will definitely go back when we want a unique twist on traditional Mexican food.“

“My family came from Ohio in 1950. We bought chalupas and little tacos and ate in Breckenridge park. I remember they were on paper plate and put in brown paper sacks. The chalupas were good because of the thick tortilla. Do you still make these.“
