I've been to this place at least a dozen times, and it never disappoints. The servers are awesome (they seem to retain their workers, which usually indicates the mark of a great business), the food is fresh and delicious, and the prices are definitely reasonable, especially for the Olmos Park area.They have great pancakes, but my go-to for breakfast is the huevos rancheros... delicious!!If you happen to be in the area, do yourself a favor, pop in, and enjoy a great meal.
I was a long time patron of the original Mary Lou's in the Southside, and I was so happy to visit the new location when visiting family these holidays. I ate here twice, once for brunch and another time for dinner.The food is excellent. The carne guisada, lengua, enchiladas, fish tacos... You can't go wrong. Stoped there for a brunch in between business meetings. Food was great. Service was a little less than one would expect, but it was just what my party needed (They left us alone as we worked on their WiFi to catch up on some items…until we asked for service.)
