“Gave it a four only because of Monica the bartender she’s amazing. Doorman Gonzo however is a power tripping joke. A group of us came in 8 to be exact 7 females one male, we came in from the monthly truck meet. All but 3 females were mid to late 40’s including myself (49) the male my boyfriend is 51 we walk in go to the bar and Gonzo shows up out of no where (wasn’t at the door) and starts telling me I need your ID, the younger ones had theirs mine was in my truck, I told him my date of birth clearly I’m way over 21 but then he starts power tripping, Monica told him no it’s fine they’re of age and he proceeds to repeat over and over obnoxiously “I need to see ID” what a joke normally I’d be flattered however he was just being a j**** we go in there frequently during our truck meets and I’ve never experienced a doorman abusing his pseudo authority they way he did, I’ll make sure when going there next month we send a scout in to make sure that j*** isn’t “manning” the place. I will say that I’ve always had really great experiences with all other bartenders and doormen there.“

“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! “Stopped by for happy hour and was amazed I walked into San Antonio’s best kept secret. The staff here was amazing and there’s no comparison equal to them as a whole. From Julian the manager and the house staff Marie, Nelly, Herbie, Ryan, Alex and Damien. Excellent atmosphere after a hard days work and ice cold drinks. Will definitely try the food next time. “I love this bar! Reed and May are the best bartenders! Friendly, professional and great memories! They always remember our(wife and I)cranberry and vodka and never fail to mention if anything is on special. I really enjoy the outside patio. Plenty of seating, fans and TV's. Restroom is always clean and I dig the live bands on Saturday.“

They both bring such good energy — professional, friendly, and always on point. Whether it’s a hectic night or a chill one, Carsen and Annie handle it with ease and make everyone feel welcome. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows. Leave Definitely two of the best — the ticket bar wouldn’t be the same without them!“

“This local pub is in our neighborhood. We went for lunch on my husband's birthday with my in laws and our server Kaitlin was the best! She was patient and informative with my in laws who usually have a lot of menu questions, and the food was excellent and large portions for the price. My husband even got a piece of cheesecake to celebrate! They have live music a few nights a week, and you can rent their very cooly decorated room or tables in the room. Lydia who manages events was very also helpful when I inquired. Great local business, check them out!“

“Unnecessarily expensive drinks... be a fun stop not a money pit. Service is constantly hit or miss but understandable considering staff rotate in and out frequently. Food is pretty good, I haven't had most of it so in fairness it's not a complete rating. I can report many food options are also weirdly out-priced for this particular establishment. Worth a try at least once if it's your thing.“

“I frequently eat at Applebees and IHOP.
I love their food. I especially live the pretzels with beercheese. I recently got the chicken parmesan it was so good and hot. They actually made a mistake, giving me a incorrect meal. They apologized and quickly gave me the correct meal. They also didnt charge me for the meal. I really hate getting a complementary meal.
Anyway service was fantastic. Our waiter kept our drinks full and ensured everything was ok. We promptly got our check.“

“Cool little dive bar, with cold beer and homey-type seating. Went with a decent sized group from work, but they were able to accommodate us. Music was playing as a nice background, but not so loud that you couldn't have a regular conversation. They had a pool table in the back that entertained several of our group. The only issue was, they don't have food, so we door dashed some pizza. Their parking lot is pretty small also.“

The spa is amazing and I had an amazing massage. We will be here all week and I am looking forward to another massage with my husband joining me next time. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender, the veggies a delight, & the potatoes really brought it home. The whiskey cake with ice cream was to die for. The fries were good, although the first batch was a bit in the soggy side. The pretzels & beer cheese were great.

“I came to Pluckers because I was really craving some wings. Plus, I had just come from a Spurs game and was able to score five free wings thanks to their sponsorship—definitely a win!

It was a Monday night, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. I arrived around 8:30 PM and was immediately seated. I had my heart set on a Mega-Rita, but unfortunately, the frozen drink machines were already down. Disappointing, but the rest of the drink menu was still available.

Since it was Monday, their special was All-You-Can-Eat Wings for $33. I decided to go all in and ordered lemon pepper and honey BBQ bone-in wings with a small order of waffle fries. The wings did not disappoint—they were great in size and packed with flavor. The waffle fries were just okay, nothing too special.

To finish off my meal, I couldn’t resist dessert after seeing the sign that said, “Pluck your diet, order dessert.” That got a chuckle out of me, so I went with the brownie, which my server highly recommended. While it was a good size, the flavor was underwhelming—honestly, the Chick-fil-A brownie is better and cheaper.

Overall, I had a good experience. The service was great, the wings were solid, and I’d definitely come back next time I’m craving wings. Hopefully, next time the drink machine will be up and running, so I can finally get that Mega-Rita!“
