“Gave it a four only because of Monica the bartender she’s amazing. Doorman Gonzo however is a power tripping joke. A group of us came in 8 to be exact 7 females one male, we came in from the monthly truck meet. All but 3 females were mid to late 40’s including myself (49) the male my boyfriend is 51 we walk in go to the bar and Gonzo shows up out of no where (wasn’t at the door) and starts telling me I need your ID, the younger ones had theirs mine was in my truck, I told him my date of birth clearly I’m way over 21 but then he starts power tripping, Monica told him no it’s fine they’re of age and he proceeds to repeat over and over obnoxiously “I need to see ID” what a joke normally I’d be flattered however he was just being a j**** we go in there frequently during our truck meets and I’ve never experienced a doorman abusing his pseudo authority they way he did, I’ll make sure when going there next month we send a scout in to make sure that j*** isn’t “manning” the place. I will say that I’ve always had really great experiences with all other bartenders and doormen there.“

“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! They both bring such good energy — professional, friendly, and always on point. Whether it’s a hectic night or a chill one, Carsen and Annie handle it with ease and make everyone feel welcome. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows. Leave Definitely two of the best — the ticket bar wouldn’t be the same without them!“

“They don't serve food but there a fried chicken truck which I think is overly priced. Atmosphere is great and so are the drinks. Nice to hang outside with a fire pit and listen to the bands. There's a pizzeria next door which smells like my Jersey pizza. I'm pretty sure you can bring that in to eat“

“Nice local dive bar. Everyone is super friendly, servers and regular customers. Patio outback for smokers and if you bring your puppy you can sit outside with it. They have good drink specials throughout the week. Lots of TVs for football season. Lots of parking and the bar is a super chill spot.“

“This was my first time at the Angry Elephant, and it made a great impression right away. My buddy and I were greeted at the door by the owner, Chip, who was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. He took the time to explain the bar’s theme and share a bit about the place, which added a nice personal touch.

The steak was cooked perfectly, tender, the veggies a delight, & the potatoes really brought it home. The whiskey cake with ice cream was to die for. The fries were good, although the first batch was a bit in the soggy side. The pretzels & beer cheese were great.

“I came to Pluckers because I was really craving some wings. Plus, I had just come from a Spurs game and was able to score five free wings thanks to their sponsorship—definitely a win!

It was a Monday night, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. I arrived around 8:30 PM and was immediately seated. I had my heart set on a Mega-Rita, but unfortunately, the frozen drink machines were already down. Disappointing, but the rest of the drink menu was still available.

Since it was Monday, their special was All-You-Can-Eat Wings for $33. I decided to go all in and ordered lemon pepper and honey BBQ bone-in wings with a small order of waffle fries. The wings did not disappoint—they were great in size and packed with flavor. The waffle fries were just okay, nothing too special.

To finish off my meal, I couldn’t resist dessert after seeing the sign that said, “Pluck your diet, order dessert.” That got a chuckle out of me, so I went with the brownie, which my server highly recommended. While it was a good size, the flavor was underwhelming—honestly, the Chick-fil-A brownie is better and cheaper.

Overall, I had a good experience. The service was great, the wings were solid, and I’d definitely come back next time I’m craving wings. Hopefully, next time the drink machine will be up and running, so I can finally get that Mega-Rita!“
