We love going there as the service is great with friendly and courteous staff and great food. I give them 10 plus as a rating. We will be going back as the price is right
Very nice restaurant, they were making fresh food when we showed up. Nice people work here.
I have been eating Hartz Chicken for years. Notably in Cleveland TX. Truly outstanding across the board.... until I went to this place.... There were two people working, no customers, very little service, and the tenders I ordered were a third the size I have had at any other Hartz!

Hartz Chicken Buffet offers a great dining experience with delicious, homemade dishes. The chicken is seasoned just right, and the fried chicken and catfish are cooked to perfection. The buffet features a variety of foods, including gizzards, chicken livers, cooked cabbage, broccoli rice and cheese, beans, beets, collard greens, stewed okra, black eye peas, macaroni salad, bread pudding, peach cobbler, and rolls that are very tasty. The staff is courteous and friendly, and the food is served warm and fresh. The restaurant is kid-friendly and has a welcoming atmosphere. Wheelchair accessibility is generally okay, with plenty of room for movement inside, though parking can sometimes be busy or sloped in one area. Overall, it is a nice addition to the town, offering real, down-home cooking that many places no longer serve.
